Sounds similar to the 2012 A6 that I had. It put me right off the brand. Overall impression was that they cut a lot of corners and it was unreliable. To me Audi, is not a premium brand. They are very much in the upper mid bracket for me.

Just got myself sorted on a 335d M Sport lease to replace my Audi A6 Avant S Tronic Black Edition. I will be returning the Audi slightly early, but it makes sense to do so.

For those interested; the penalty is 55% of the remaining lease rentals, but for me, it will mean I can avoid two new front tyres (c£330) and the first service (c£300), this offsets the penalty by some way, and the 335d is £160ish/month cheaper smile I also rang up VWFS this week and reduced my agreed mileage as I am a little behind where I initially predicted at this stage, That has saved another £30/month on the Audi and helps to further offset the penalty of terminating the lease early.

Pick up the BMW at the end of September.

Just happened to be looking at leasing when the recent Sirocco deals were around. Ordered though TL Darby and 5 weeks later this turned up on my drive today

2.0 TSI Bluemotion GT DSG in standard spec, only thing I changed was opting for the White rather than Urano Grey.
£1,500 down, 23x £168 @ 8k per annum as a personal deal seemed pretty good to me - at the time it was cheaper than a Golf and one of the best Auto deals I could find.

Thanks to the thread for all the info and where to find these deals - between the posts about PCP and whats classed as a Business lease theres lots of very helpful info (and people) on here.

Looking forward to a couple of years worry free motoring after running £2k sheds for the last couple of years

It's a 12 month lease offer only open to certain categories of employees, Military (inc ex), Police, NHS, Bar Council, direct with BMW UK. £1000 down and 11x £335, 12000 miles, all inclusive of VAT, I guess thats almost a 3+11, so £4685 for the year. Car also has a couple of options (MS+ and HFS). Cheap motoring for a year in a high end BMW, as no servicing, unlikely to go through tyres. Not at Golf R levels of cheapness and the decent Scirocco above, but it will do smile

Cracking deal that, whats standard on the GT? £200 odd a month for a very decent looking car. Congrats.

After just over 2000 miles I'm still not used to the complete lack of response below 1800rpm. Not had any sat nav issues with mine though, and my stop start works as expected.

On a cold(ish) morning there is some stiction to overcome before turning the steering wheel, which then squeaks loudly with use until the car warms up. Also I'm convinced the subwoofer isn't connected. The stereo sounds really thin and lacking in power (it sounds a lot worse than the stereo in a ten year old Passat, and that had a blown speaker).
Yep the biggest gripe from me is the lack of response in second gear from almost tickover when on a slow corner. It's bordering on dangerous how nothing happens for a few seconds.

None of the quality issues seem apparent in my car that you've both outlined though - apart from Apple Carplay being sketchy. It sometimes just doesn't play tracks when you start it up and there seems no rhyme or reason why not. Then later it works again. Sat nav and the stereo have been very good here too.

Does anyone remember when the really good Audi A4 deals were first issued in relation to when the A4 was announced?

Just wondering if the A5 will be the same.

Just signed for a Kia Sportage basic model with metallic paint for 135/mo on a personal plan

https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/kia...

We've availed of a brilliant Sportage deal a few weeks ago, still seems to good to be true but the contract has been signed and sent out and we're just sitting in the cooling off period before the factory order is placed next Tues. We looked at the Tucson and a few other models, but kept coming back to the Sportage as the new model is so much nicer than the previous - wife loved the GT-line with it's sportier spec, bigger wheels and black/grey leather seats, but always assumed it would be too expensive and we'd have to go for a base model.

This wasn't advertised by the way - I contacted the firm in question directly for a quote (amongst many others) and they came back with something far better than I expected. Most comparative ones were at least £70 per month more.

Sportage GT-line 2.0 CRDi 6-spd, 4WD
24 months - £1493 down, then 23 x monthly payments of £166
10k miles
All on a personal basis and inclusive of VAT.

Just emailed to see if this is still available at that price should you be interested.

It's a decent deal but I came across the 335d x drive around that price several times over the last few months. Best offer in Xmas was £310/month on 6+23 / 10k. I would have expected a stonking deal through an exclusive channel. Nevertheless, it's a great car and a pretty good deal.
I went for the 430d Gran Coupe M Sport in the end (9+23 / 10k / £308 per month) and sacrificed some practicality for looks. Preferred the standard sports RWD and suspension which sits a bit lower, but I can see why some may prefer the X Drive.

Was this with Select Car Leasing? edit: just seen your earlier posts - was it LeasePlanGo?

I have placed an order (still going through the paperwork) for the base 1 model (a 3+23 version of the initial post @ £165 a month) but might ask them to change it to your deal for the extra £1k up front if that's still possible.

You make some good points, what makes the 335d slightly more stand out for me is: V low initial payment, decent mileage allowance, 12 month term ( I get bored easily) and the fact that it includes M Sport Plus package (19's, HK audio etc ). The deal you have on the 430 GC looks equally as enticing particularly as it has pro nav as standard whereas the 335 doesn't which is odd marketing by BMW.

Was with LeasePlan. I'm waiting on the account manager to get back and let me know if the deal is still available, I'll forward on his contact details if so.

Thanks, it's appreciated. I'm still within 14 day cooling off, so could cancel with Select Car Leasing.

What was the LeasePlan admin fee? Reasonable excess mileage? Manual or auto? smile

Not a lease deal, per se, but I thought it might be interesting for people coming to the end of their lease.

Mine finishes in late September (currently 32 months into a 36 month term) and the lease co' has just contacted me to offer me the following options on my 330d M-Sport which has done 25,700 mile so far:

Buy the car off them - £21,100
Extend the contract - £470/month inc VAT
Continue current lease informally - same as current payments (£358/month inc VAT)

Manual 6-spd. No admin/acceptance fee. Additional mileage is 11p per mile, but I don't see us going far over the 10k if at all.
