Apologies for off topic, but how was your shooting brake? It really appeals to me - estate with style - but at the moment is out of budget. Can you fit 3 kids in the back of one comfortably?

I really enjoyed the car. Three kids in back is no problem, even three adults quite comfy. With the 6 cylinder very nice to drive although not super sporty. Only issue I had is with tyres, 19' wheels seem to be highly susceptible to damage/punctures. It is big but surprisingly manoeuvrable and got great presence, loved the looks but not for everyone.

Any decent golf r deals on? Cant find anything decent
Carleasing-online seems to be the best around at the moment with a 9+23 for a manual 5dr at £234 p/m inc VAT. That's only on 5k miles per year though. Not sure of excess mileage rates.

Not that great with only 5k miles and on a 9+ initial payment.

Doesn't seem to be any great deals at the moment for these types of cars.

I think there will be better support on MB product next year, so if you can hang fire I'd wait and see what Q1 brings us.

MY CLS Shooting Break was built today, I've gone bold with a Red one biggrin

Seems expensive at 75p / mile.

I sell MB, and they've over achieved their target for this year so there's not really any support on anything for Q4 bar a small batch of A Class with Arval. Next year they have a large number to hit, so as an educated guess the support will be turned back on smile

You can usually tell who needs numbers to hit target by the lease deals that are around, silly deals = miles from target. No deals around = job done no need to spend money on support if it's not required.

That's interesting. Makes sense really. Any ideas who do need numbers, any particular brands who you think will be trying to shift a load in Q4?

Seem to remember some good BMW 330d/335d deals earlier this year...anyone know if these are still knocking around?

Best I can find is £438 (Nationwide) based on, personal lease, 15k miles, 3-23. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought there were better deals at one point? Can wait until April so not urgent.

Know anyone who works for Tesco? They are currently doing a staff deal on personal leases through Alphabet Cars.

335d Msport XDrive curently £407pm. £0 deposit. 24mths. 15k.

Not sure what they are doing with their pricing but this same deal has been £325, £359 and £389 in the last 10 days.

Im looking for RS3 deals at the moment as my Golf R is due up for renewal soon. Does anyone know of any good deals? Best so far is £440 ish on personal lease, Id rather go down this route than business as I can use mileage through my business to pay for it rather than get hammered for tax.

Cheers

Any brokers feel that they can do something can get me at me_tony@talk21.com

thx

£440 for an RS3? Do you have a link for that? Assuming it's 5k or something? I need to actually drive the car so looking for 15k. Cheers

If you think you've found an RS3 deal then please paste basic lease details and LINK IT, that's the point of this thread that often gets lost smile

But last time I looked, there are no deals for the RS3. Only full price or full price equivalent (in a manner of speaking...)

£440 seems a lot for an RS3 when an M235i can be had for £320.

I'd definitely pay more than twice as much to have a fast Audi A3 that looked almost exactly the same as a 2.0TDi S-line, rather than a fast Golf that looks almost exactly the same as a 2.0GTD Golf.....

Image is everything. wink
