Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol II)
Discussion
There's nothing in front of this parking space and it's by the wall, so no problem. I expect to find myself in bad parking thread soon ;-)
BTW, service plan is £350 for 3 years, 60K miles. I heard that first service is £400 so it's worth considering by those waiting for delivery. I also bought finance GAP, £124 with car2cover. Ala was twice the price.

Works out at £513 per month over 2 years for 10,000 miles per year.
Can't knock that for an S8!

Hi there, my first time looking to lease due to a change of job in the new year, but have read this thread and learnt an awful lot already! I've just got a few questions that I'd be very grateful to get views/answers on.
I'm looking at something fairly frugal, quick, comfortable and spacious - so far have looked in some detail at the Skoda Octavia vRS Estate 2.0 TDI.
I'm looking for a 2 year lease, and expect to cover around 20k miles per annum, a mix of both personal and business miles.
The best deals I've found so far are from Jet Vehicle Finance and Simpsons Skoda respectively:
JVF - specifically the deal near the bottom of the page at 3+23 at £323.59 a month inc VAT. They also have the same deal at £365.88 a month including maintenance, which equates to around an extra £550 a year. Can anyone please confirm what this covers? Is it simply a dealer service, or also tyres, brakes etc?
Simpsons - This is a deposit of £1990, followed by 23 x £210, but for only 8k a year. I've contacted the dealer for a quote for 20k a year, but at the moment have used the 7.2ppm excess to calculate that it equates to a monthly payment of £285. This works out in total to be about £10/month more than JVL.
Any thoughts as to whether these are decent deals? Are there better to be found on this car, or do you have a view on a deal I should be looking at for an alternative car?
Many thanks in advance!

Well done on the new job !!! I make the difference about £6/month. Sometimes, a quote for higher mileage actually makes it worse and removes the flexibility of doing less mileage than planned yet still pay for it. The £55 / month for maintenance seems pricey on the assumption this is just for servicing. The dealers may actually have a better offer that you could buy separately. Overall, seems like decent deals but I don't know this market well.

You have a decent price, spreading it over 3 years would save just over £20 a month and keep it under warranty the whole time? I'm looking at something fairly frugal, quick, comfortable and spacious - so far have looked in some detail at the Skoda Octavia vRS Estate 2.0 TDI.

Anyone seen anymore Tiguan deals? New model out early next year so would have thought some deals to be had on current one.
There were lots around a few weeks ago, so I'd assume you've probably missed the boat. However with VW sales reported as 20% down there may well be some great deals on the new model.oldnbold said:

After seeing my friend's S8 a few weeks ago (he also got it as a result of this thread - pics back a few pages), there's a handy feature he showed me. If you've got the key on you and you've got your hands full, swing your foot under the back of the car, the boot will open. https://www.selectcontracts.co.uk/bmw-1_series-hat...
Seems a pretty good deal?
BMW M135i
Personal Lease 9+24 @ £276.98 10k p/a
Everywhere else seems to list at around £340 pm
