The original post seems to have slipped into a doppelgänger thread, so I'll repost here (and apologies) ...
Here's my Type R - Jaguar Racing Green supposedly (although it goes by other names) and I love it
Interior's not bad either (hold off all the pipe and slipper comments please!)
Someone was intrigued by the black panels, so here's another shot:

Cheers mate (and Matt Bird)- that makes me feel warm inside! For the price these things go for, I can't imagine another way to enjoy 400BHP that wouldn't make me feel a pain of depreciation that would just halt the enjoyment in any other DD that I'd pile the miles on in the way that I have with this.Really loving the other Jags too - beautiful, keep them coming!
OK, as we're into things green, here's a pic of my Jaguar XF 5.0 V8 Portfolio. Not many of these were made for the UK market (it was the standard car for the USA market),and were only available in the UK to special order. Any XF in this colour, emerald fire, is rare...I've seen one in the past 18 months or so.

That is a superb spec and a lovely colour. You've managed to offset the damage done to the Jaguar image by, I would say, at least 500 of the sad lease spec single tailpipe 2.2 diesel XFs you see everywhere in wet road grey.R

I happened across this at the start of the week and suffered instant major-league want. Dark green and tan is always a great combination - all the better because it's almost never available as standard and therefore has rarity value too. Pity the price tag is ree-diculous.
It is a crazy price, list on that car would have been around 120k but you'd get 25-30k off that if you haggled and ordered from a dealer so I think that Bramley are trying it on...again! That M6, is it the same car that was for sale at Dick Lovett in June? If yes, a video of this stunning car can be seen here: https://youtu.be/J13fy-qbXQA

I'm obviously biased, but that colour really suits the XF - lovely R
Maseratis work in green too:

And this Evora works well in the combo:

dme123 & Dr Jezz,
Thanks for you interest and kind comments.
Before getting this car I had an S-Type 4.0 V8 SE for over 3 years followed by the much better S-Type 4.2 V8 SE for over 10 years. When changing I did think about the XFR but frankly it was an un-Jaguar like handful as far as I am concerned. My XF 5.0 non R has 385 BHP which is very acceptable and produces a really good all round experience, and meets what I hoped to achieve from a Jaguar. They are quite rare as they were the standard car for the USA market, never advertised in the UK and were available to order only here. I think there's maybe 60-70 in the UK. My car was originally ordered for an executive at Jaguar so as well as being a Portfolio is has many other extras eg sun roof. In fact, in the service book it is described as a Portfolio Studio, whatever that means.

Nice car. I also have a N/A 5.0 V8 XF, in Premium Luxury spec. Mines in black though. (See previous Carpool entry). Amazing cars. Knew they were rare (circa 140 in total I believe) but wasn't aware of them being special order though until now. R
