I like my 2016 1ss.

I wanted a 2ss but wanted to stay in budget so I went for the magnetic suspension over the interior upgrade.

Averaging 20 mpg so far. Has 400 miles, just floored it for the first time.

I doubt this tester has even been in the previous Camaro, his opinions are ridiculous, his childish observations are just that. As an owner, I suggest he goes out and drives one, and adopts a more mature style of critique-look what happened to Clarkson!

I'm in the US at the moment on holiday and I have a camaro as a rental. The visibility is terrible. The glass is tiny and it really is like trying to drive through a letterbox. The blind spots are really huge and I wouldn't recommend reversing without a spotter!

The boot is comically small. We could only get one case in by hitting it. The other one had to ride on the back seats.

There are also some really bad design feature. The bottom of the front seat belt is attached to the seat so rear passengers fall over it getting out. The window switches are too far back so your elbow is jammed between the seat and the door. The door so high you can rest your arm on it. The list goes on.

Last year I rented a challenger and it was a far better car all round.

Oddly Although he Challenger did have the bigger boot I preferred the Camaro. It wasn't bigger by much either.

It's more the size of the opening than the size of the boot itself.
Door height is the same issue with many cars these days.
Actually you're right. It's the opening thats the main issue rather than the size, however it's still a small boot. Our big case could not get past the lip without a lot of force. The second case would not fit once the first was in.

Both

You would probably have had better luck with a Corvette which is designed to fit golf clubs. My C5 Z06 boot was huge.

I came away from driving the challenger thinking I could own one. The Camaro has disappointed me. I feel it could have been better designed and still kept the shape.

We got two large suitcases and my Backpack in with a bit of juggling. My feeling was that the Challenger was a bit saloon ish whereas the Camaro especially after I corrected the tyre pressures felt more sporty
