I think lines like that are just used fot comical value. He's already wrapped the car and is soon to fit an exhaust on it, he's definitely not living edge to edge. He lives in central London and has another car worth 30 odd k. Doubt he's up at night lol

While no doubt all of the above is financed / mortgaged - he must be earning a significsnt sum cover payments

Hahaha Gassed Up?? Is this Joe again in another disguise? Only 5 posts..! It's a terrible channel...his Polo GTI is the best car in the world/fastest round a track etc and that's it, hilarious!

+1 Cant see the appeal. he seems to do nothing remotely interesting with his cars.

Just had a search through the thread and it seems that yes the chap was promoting his channel and got banned yet the whole thread is one glorious promotion for shmee150 (which I don't really have a problem with) so why isn't Shmee150 banned?

Seems a bit unfair to me but whatever its not my business just saying what I see.

Because Shmee didn't start it. The attention was brought on him (quite negative at that) and he has been defending himself and also clarifying a lot of questions etc

It's a bit different to him coming on and saying GO CHECK MY CHANNEL OUT GUYS.

Did he do that then? Not exactly crime of the century stuff though is it. I'd understand if it was constant spam but still I can't be bothered to go through over a hundred pages to find out the precise story...

Regarding the channel there's nothing wrong with enjoying a car even if it is just a 1.0 st box (which it isnt) in my opinion this is a site for enthiusiasts (I think) he's clearly one of those so there you go. My two pence on the matter. It's just a single channel I'm subscribed to that came recommended from another.

Back to the matter at hand yes these vlogger clearly are a scam. Putting out mediocre click bait content to stuff their already full wallets is not something I necessarily agree with but who am I to judge. The content at least is technically free so if I don't like it I won't watch it!

Not watched anything of his for a good few months - very much lost their way. Just new car after new car after new house. Very little actual reviews, driving etc. I remember when he did the hyper car video - that was good.

Bisforbuild is getting better too - he lost his job so putting more videos out now and trying to go full time. Has 2 project cars on the go at the moment.

DannyDC2 is putting more content out for some reason too. Which is good as plenty of us on here like his stuff. Must admit watching the drift videos I really do fancy having a go at it but the mrs would kill me if I bought another car.

DannyDC2 is one of my favourites. He's carved a nice little niche for himself although due to that I don't think he'll be quitting his day job anytime soon!

Salomondrin content has bombed recently and squeezing a new employee into a rental Mercedes is just a bit far. I'd take a guess that a production company have bought the rights to bangin gears as this was almost main stream TV quality content.

Archie never goes racing Hamilton just bombards the viewers with clickbait and advertised content.

For the rest I begun to appreciate Tim's stuff. I can't watch the let's spec my car stuff but the whole AM journey content was interesting and an insight I'd not normally get.

For me you're watching the content for the characters as the famous 5 all push the same advertising lead content and same approach.

• Tell people your thinking of buying a new car
• Go on random (now sponsored) walk of a 'random' dealership
• Get some car broker involved
• Ask the famous 5 to turn up and guess what you're going to buy
• Spec your car or explain why you didn't as it was just the perfect spec for you
• Pick up car with some of the famous 5
• Drive round London or Monte Carlo
• Get it wrapped cause that perfect spec wasn't quite perfect
• Get a exhaust cause that's good for 2 videos
• Drive a little more and now explain how you financed the car without giving numbers but repeating the brokers name
• Go on a Euro drive with famous 5
• 4 months later explain that a mystery person wants your car and say that soon you'll be doing all over again.......

I kinda like Paul of SCL but this is his approach to content so at least I know in advance what videos I'm going to watch in the background to BF1 and cooking dinner.

I guess at the end of the day application of a cookie cutter process is what I guess you need if your going to achieve daily posts. I certainly wouldn't want to take on the chore of running around for advertisers to make content that sustained me and for those who are monetary successful I applaud you.

Indeed. I watched a recent Q&A video from the JWW chap, he was talking about his cars and seemed to hinting that he was enjoying and was satisfied with his current fleet but felt he should be selling up and buying new cars in order to generate content for the channel.
