You can only blame Porsche for that, not the actual consumers.
It is on par with tramps fighting over the chunky bits of vomit.

I don't understand why some people get so emotional about flipping. If it annoys you that much then buy one yourself and don't sell it. Surely nearly everyone who complains, was not in a position to buy the cars in question...so what does it matter?
The only people who complain are the people without either the money or foresight to do it themselves.

Be it property, cars, or even domain names.
That is utter rubbish. Some of us can afford a much more lavish lifestyle but dont want or need to. I have no issue with new media other than the race to the bottom. Look at STG and his gumtree advert that wasn't branded as one but blatantly was. We keep this up, we will end up with glossy versions of the late night tv long adverts.

Of and beefy, in your own head and inner voice you might think what you are saying I amusing or just a bit of fun. The person reading doesn't have access to your other brain cell so they may not take it as such as they cannot read your mind. #winkwinksmileyface

Sorry but that is nonsense.

Not sure if he's considered a vlogger but 'lord' Aleem was bouncing off the rev limiter doing laps around Piccadilly yesterday pm. Every time I walked outside the pub for a smoke he was hammering past revving the white aventador sv. Cringe.

Was discussing Andy74b not getting a GT3 with a friend earlier and he made a good point.

Andy has a 911R - maybe Porsche don't want to give him a manual 991.2 GT3 as they know it'll be better than the R in every measurable way. And lets just say Andy isn't backwards about coming forwards with his feelings on social media...
I don't think so. A popular petrolhead I follow on Instagram (not YouTuber) called Kavi Jandu has a 911R with the new GT3 on order. He has 20k followers and a car history which includes a 918. While not as well known as Andy, if this was what Porsche was afraid of I doubt they would have allocated him a car.

And not allocating them cars wouldn't stop them finding a way of driving one and giving their views on them.

I don't think anyone knows what he is. He started doing his YouTube thing again not too long ago releasing videos everyday That stopped. He appeared to have a minor meltdown on social media recently - every so often deactivates and then reactivates his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

That's the joy/freedom of being that wealthy, he doesn't really need to commit to anything and he's already achieved his end goal of being a social media 'celeb/well known'.

Kavi is a member on here, a nice bloke who seems to buy every porsche going! hehe

I had some fun going around Silverstone for a few laps in his GT3 RS (passenger) last year, and then seen him doing donuts in his GT2 RS a couple months later cool

any idea that Shmee is self funded through You Tube / social media must be blown away now looking at the number of cars he's buying / got on order.........he's being bankrolled by somebody

He's never claimed that his cars were YT/SM funded. Ever.

To be fair I have claimed they are Shmee150 funded, but that is different to being YouTube funded; the latter representing a percentage of the income but far from all of it.

It doesn't take much to work out though that if I make some money, I spend it on a car; the first three months of this year have gone well so I bought a Vanquish... Maybe it'll lose £20k or more when I sell it in 6 months (if I do) but not only do I get a whole lot of enjoyment and the experience out of it but it's content too. Cars are my passion and that's not about to change, maybe over time the disproportionate expenditure will though!

Shmee - love the new car, a real stunner, but did you ever consider something a little out of the box, I saw suggestions in your YT comments of some really interesting cars, one that caught my eye was another Morgan but their Aero 8 supercar? Does a car like that appeal to you or is it more a case of Aston is a better known brand so would do better on YT? A small company like them would probably even give you a car just for the pure advertisement of someone as well know as yourself driving one and publishing on YouTube!

Do you get to write off car depreciation against your profit?

I'm not sure how it's happened but I've turned into a shmee fan of sorts. Beautiful looking vanquish, nice colour.

Like the chap above though I'd ove you to buy something slightly more unusual, maybe an M600 as you seemed to like it a lot? Or a proper slimmed back track focused car of some sort (Atom etc).

In the latest video it was cited how good an experience he had had with Aston Martin and was one reason for bringing this second one on to the fleet. Seems quite at odds with the long running thread of someone else on the forum! Selective good experience provided for the more public, high profile buyer?

I agree. Something like a Morgan would be so much more interesting than the latest glossy version of a generic supercar.

In answer to the questions about cars more out of the box; it would certainly be 'more PH' but less global in general.

I'm sure you can and in the early days I did but no more as it's just too complicated for my records and mileage.

Find a car brand that hasn't had at least one bad story about them, it doesn't exist! In my experience, Aston Martin been substantially above the other brands I've owned, including when I bought my Vantage Roadster in 2010 when I had a grand total of 500 followers, not 7,000,000.

On the subject of YouTubers with Astons... I see 'B is for Build' has acquired a V8 Vantage and is planning on dropping in some Japanese engine into it.

Whether this was the same engine he was going to put into one of his BRZs in his previous video, I do not know.

As for his Mustang, despite an "it's finished" video the turbo setup still doesn't appear to actually work yet.

It seems he has too short an attention span to finish off a project and gets distracted by whatever new project he's dreamt up.

(I suspect the problem is that because he doesn't do many vlog style videos we don't get to see him using his fleet of working vehicles, so it looks like he's forgotten about them).

Did he finish his Evora?

He seems to be following my car path. Only with broken ones.
