Right, that's it I am selling the house and buying a 458. Youtube here I come... I am sure the wife will buy into the idea...
Dogs might not be happy though.
Dogs? Don't people love dog videos? They could be your biggest asset. Dogs might not be happy though.

if you replace 'a' with '1' in his original statement, then it does read correctly.
100,000 is 'ten to the 5'
1,000,000 is 'ten to the 6'
As such, 1,000,000 is larger than 100,000 by 1 power of ten
I guess this is how I meant it, English was never my strong point 100,000 is 'ten to the 5'
1,000,000 is 'ten to the 6'

Maybe I should go make videos like Mo - this wouldn't be a problem and I'd earn more
How much creative freedom does Zoella actually have now?
I seem to remember someone saying that Zoella still makes videos that still appear like she's alone in her house but in reality she's on set with about 20 people around her. Every word that comes out of her mouth is reviewed and all videos edited to make sure every single brand she promotes is happy with it before it's uploaded.
It just comes across as incredible misleading.

Zoella and PointlessBlog live down the road from me. Have bumped into them in town and they come across as very nice people. Last I heard Zoella all in was earning about £50K a month. House is north of £1m now that I assume they own outright. Not bad for 26 and 23 years old.
They have changed, they have grown up, now with a management company, Gleam I think. It's all pointless in my opinion, and it will tail off as they grow ever older.
The difference between Shmee and someone like Zoella for example is that the likes of Zoella will have a limited shelf life and will therefore have to make hay now. Shmee I assume doesn't.. After all, look at Clarkson.

Had a quick look today and can't believe just how many of these woeful car vlogs there are now. It wouldn't be so bad if their content was a bit more diverse but it's all pretty much the same.
I have little interest in most of them too, but check out Davide Cironi (I think it was PHer s m on here who I first saw mention him). They're all subtitled Italian vids on YouTube, but he does some cool older cars - E30 M3, 205 GTi, Alfa 75 Turbo Evo, R5 Turbo - as well as newer onesziggy328 said:

You think ?
Why makes you think teen based fsupercar fantasy is any more stable a long term prospect than teen based supercar fantasy ?
Surely the biggest problem with the Shmee brand is exactly that, Shmee just doesn't strike me as a brand ready to appeal to a long term audience who grow with the content provider.

Because supercars are the focus. Always will be for some, hopfully! When it comes to Zoella for example, she is the focus. People grow up, and old, unfortunately.
Apologies meant teen fashion fantasy versus teen super car fantasy.Anyway I think you got that despite my hamfisted typing !
Zoella has more than just Zoe Sugg to offer her audience and she's been building on the foundations of her vlogs over the past years. Numerous products, her third book has just been published and I'd suggest that TV producers will be aware of her ease on camera.
She puts the hours in though. In the run up to Christmas she's releasing at least one new vlog per day - sometimes more. Sure, the content is pink bubblegum fluff but that doesn't detract from the hard work required to publish content attractive to her audience - of which there are seven million on Twitter alone. Proper, proper entrepreneurial spirit.

Are you still assuming the Shmee audience is primarily teenagers? Do the advertisers, sponsors, and most particularly the manufacturers who give him privileged access believe that? Think Rolls, Bentley, Koenigsegg, Pagani, Ferrari, Aston and others. And then there are the private owners of extrordinary car collections who presumably give him access because they like his videos.Don't Youtube tailor adverts to each viewer? If so, presumably you get better advertising revenue if your viewer profile is more attractive to advertisers.
