Is this thread now criticising someone for buying an Abarth Biposto? Seems a bit harsh, I'd personally love one

Doesn't the Biposto thingy start at 33k? Could have bought a decent hot hatch for that, especially on finance like the Fiat is.
For a second there I thought you said £33k......

I'm pretty sure I'm reading it right.

Only when the owner of said Fiat makes a video where he takes the piss out of others cars at a PH meet

But of course he had an F Type then so was obviously superior so it's all good, right? hehe

Fair enough, that also sounds a bit harsh (although in keeping with many posters on PH too unfortunately)

No idea if this one is a scam or not, and my long faded GCSE german means I can't understand much but I like watching this one. Can't for the life of me think why.

God I have one day of actual work to do and get back home to 3 pages of handbags. Good show!

If someone opened the door of my car and sat in it, it would not end well! I think you were quite restrained!

As for Sam, I don't know why he is saying he cant afford a Scud which he would love, or the McLaren 650. If you can afford £120k you can afford £160k. Also this car guy he has with him, no disrespect but he comes across as not a car guy at all... if you have such knowledge of cars and the car market you should be able to look after yourself - odd IMHO.

I spoke to Sam (STG) at last years Goodwood SS. We had a chat and he seemed much like anyone else you might meet at one of these events. I was quite surprised by the video he made. I'm glad to see that this years effort is much more in keeping with the spirit of a Sunday Service.
This year I spoke briefly to Joe Achilles (one of the other YouTube people) in the queue for coffee. He too could have been anyone that you get chatting to on a cold December morning looking around cars.

Why would it be a scam, it's a woman talking about driving cars on YouTube?

Re-watching last years video it seemed like maybe he'd got the wrong expectations... He even said he was expecting 20 LaFerraris. This year he treated it as it should have been like a cars & coffee meet - you never know whats going to turn up. I actually quite like STG. He comes across as a bit of a toff but I think it's hilarious.

I'm glad you met Joe though. I've been following his videos for a while now and he seems like such a decent chap!

Watched his video last night and thought it was good - he wasn't just focusing on the latest supercars and filmed quite a few unusual cars arriving or leaving.

P.S. I think he's going to end up in a Audi R8 V10+ (unless he suddenly decides that he can actually afford the 570S (which I think he probably could).

That's because he's been reading this thread and wants to appear rounded.

The R8 V10+ is all he's talked about so far and there doesn't seem much else he's keen on. He won't get an AMG GTS because SOL has one, doesn't want an older car, has about £110k to spend. I wouldn't be surprised if McLaren sorted him out with a 570S just for the press but not sure if they do that type of thing. Not 100% sure who the miserable looking bloke is in that car buying video though, some sort of broker?

It's mostly through finance... so it'll be about what deal he can do with them.
Initially he said his budget was between £80k and £110k... or maybe £120-130k for the right car.....
So then his budget is £140k hehe
And for a guy that loves character and emotion in his cars (ie Italian...) I shudder to think he'll end up going German.
having a Biposto thing for a daily proves he is not your average youtuber "SUPERCARS ARE AWESOME!!!" type...

I disagree. He's gone for one of the most overpriced cars on the market. When there are lots of other hot-hatch dailys which are better.
His money and his choice and all that - But still it's hardly the "humble" choice, it's basically £60k of Fiat.
- Well, I think they start at £30k but with a few options it's £60k.
