It's still draining! I think I've missed 2 days in the last 8 weeks and it's been pretty intense. Making a car video is not easy, I've tried it, feel free to take a look at me, an old F**T, having a go ! : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5sJwi9NAvA

Quickmoose, whether it's what you would do or not, I'm definitely loving the opportunity in front of me to test out and try all sorts of cars and ownership experiences. Some may make money, some will lose money, but there's a little more to it overall. Exciting cars are my passion and I'm in a strange position of having millions of people following what I do with them. The only cars I've sold recently are the LT to go into the newer LT Spider, and the GT4 to be replaced by something I've not yet shown. I would like to grow a collection but you only know what you really like and want by testing the waters, and let's be honest the most important things: it's fun and I can!
You are only a few cars away from being able to open your own show room :-)Thanks for taking us on your trip threw the cars you try and own. If you what to sell me stuff, go for it but my piggy bank will not quite stratch to GT8.
Watched a few of them in the beginning and have now started unaubscribing to some.
- shmee's voice annoys me and his presentation style is hard to watch imo. Lovely cars though.
- SOL his lack of knowledge does my head in!
- seb Delaney - just don't like the content.
I do continue to watch.
- jww seems cool. Like his presentation style and his content is good.
- stg makes me laugh and again enjoy his content.

I quite enjoyed that once I got used to the 'low energy' delivery. New Brighton too

I really don't see how even the most impressionable and desperate teenage viewers can bear to watch his videos. He's horribly uncomfortable to watch, seems to be a bit of a bellend with limited knowledge and a slightly desperate feel to it all. And he just somehow squeezed his way in with the more established youtubers and used their fame to get subscribers even though his content/garage/personality is dreadful... Truckosaurus said:
I suspect his play was 'would you like to stay at my house in Monaco?'.
I'm sure he is a nice enough lad in real life.
I'm sure he is a nice enough lad in real life.
He is though, in my opinion, one of the worst for making opaque claims about his life and business interests, variously claiming to be a social media consultant, car broker and app developer. Reality would appear to be he scratches a living from YT whilst living at home courtesy of his very well connected family.
As for SOL I get the impression he is having to run very hard to stand still at present. Whilst I think his content is the worst by a country mile I think his achievements from a standing start are in many ways the most laudable. The problem is he would seem not to have the family backed financial stability, commercial acumen or presenting talent of some, or all of his contemporaries.
I'm surprised there isn't a UK based channel that concentrates on more iconic stuff and classics. It all seems to be super of hyper car ''look at me'' type content. Even the stuff I used to like from Chris Harris has gone all ADHD since going Top Gear. The comedy fun measuring device, in the recent M2 revue, was just cringeworthy.

Probably because kids use YouTube and don't want to see stuff about classics. J Leno and harry garage cover some of this stuff though.Came across a channel called meet the vloggers the other day, they seem to have a fleet of super cars despite only having 600K subscribers
One of them got a r8 for her 17th birthday in Dubai and then got a Bentley in the uk,

They claim to be self made but i'm unsure?

That whole channel looks horrendous. 3 spoilt brat rich girls showing off about their easy lives with the most annoying clickbait titles and dreadful posed thumbnails for each vid desperately trying to get teenagers to click them. Add in some fake pranks and pretending to do some challenges and you've got a winning youtube channel with loads of views and sweet fk all interesting content. One of them got a r8 for her 17th birthday in Dubai and then got a Bentley in the uk,

Whilst it is painfully hard to read at times this immediate hit from Google seems to say an awful lot about the "meet the Vloggers" crew.
Whilst I appreciate this makes me sound a grumpy old git It's both a sad and rather illuminating indictment on what young people aspire to and the lengths they will go to to "succeed" .

Not watched SOL's videos for a while; he seems to lack the personality and knowledge of other vloggers. IIRC he kept checking his hair, came across as a bit of a Beckham wannabe. STG is OK but can be quite grating - like Stewie Griffin on Red Bull. It's hard to knock Shmee's content but the recent 'GT8 having its badges fitted' 'GT8 getting paint protection' and 'getting the keys to my GT8' videos felt like one video spun out to three. By the time he'd picked it up from the factory even I felt like I knew every inch of the car, yet they still had three employees removing a cover from it and Shmee acted like a millionaire's 10-year-old daughter who'd just been given her first pony.
