Back on topic, I have finally succumbed to watching someone quite regularly on youtube and that is TGE. Seems an affable enough chap with some humour, a bit more diversity in his videos than just spotting, or talking about a specification or some other stuff that clearly appeals to many but not to me. The fact his business interests are also more diverse than youtubing probably help with that.
I started out really disliking the guys attitude towards things. But having seen a few more of his videos he's quite a laid back funny character. Not subscribed but do watch the videos on the odd occasion they come up in the suggested box.No idea whats been happening with the SOL, Seb, Archie, STG crew these past 2 weeks but it seems like they've all reverted to being annoying little children running around car dealerships and getting banned from driving.
The bit where they were in a dealership revving a cold Porsche GT was just upsetting.

I've found myself watching Jamie_FYD a bit of late ( https://www.youtube.com/user/Jamiebdub). He's a bit of a lad, but he kind of does a British version of what Matt Farah does with his one-takes, looking at people's (often modified) cars. His mate's 700+bhp Focus is gloriously obnoxious.

Harrogate is only a stones throw away from us so recognize all of those roads, inspired me to take the 197 out tomorrow and find some good country roads actually.
Looking to move to H'gate later in the year too, can't say I'm looking forward to the traffic, I'll be taking the 'long way round' on my commute certainly.
Does anyone watch 6Two1 at all? I've always enjoyed Adams content, even as a guy who doesn't or ever has owned a Japanese car (yet). Also quite like AdamC3046 and Jamie_FYD too, few reviews here and there, car spotting / leaving meets, small channels but decent stuff.
Harrogate is only a stones throw away from us so recognize all of those roads, inspired me to take the 197 out tomorrow and find some good country roads actually.

The E91 is such a better daily car. I'm getting some abuse for selling the DC2 in the comments on the new vid!I knew after a week of having the black DC2 that it was going to be a temporary daily solution.
Good luck on the move to Harrogate, it's a nice place to live for sure.

Made me laugh that 6two1 a supposedly Jap fan didn't recognise an R34 Skyline GTR in his last video, struggled to recognise a Sunny/Pulsar GTI R as well! I count them as rather large channels FYD and the like as some of the big publications that have been around for years only have maybe 5 times the amount of subscribers.
Car Youtubing is never going to be that big a thing compared to lifestyle and all the weird s
te that YouTube has to offer.It's probably just cos you would smash her back doors in given half a chance but check out this messed up stuff on a girl called ASMR Darling's channel!

Honda guys are the biggest fanboys in the world so you were always going to get abuse for that. Can't moan too much as it's attracted lots of people to the channel by the looks of it.I knew after a week of having the black DC2 that it was going to be a temporary daily solution.

That Skyline GTR (if I recall correctly, if it's a different one correct me), was heavily modified for drift, covered in stickers, wingless and with a wild bodykit on it, with all of the different version of Skylines out there, would be easily questioned IMO. 6TWO1 is most definitely Honda focused anyway, not really all-JDM.Michaelhunt said:

I was thinking about making a video about why the 330d is better than the DC2 for daily driving, but I feel that I'll just be stating the obvious, and those who don't understand initially probably can never be convinced.
