Personally I don't see the appeal of the BOTB Geneva videos, unless you're heavily invested in the guys.

Sam nailed Geneva.

Shocking and that's the problem with what you just said....if everyone thought like you all that would be on TV would be ste like the only way is Essex/dinner date etc etc

I'm more than happy to watch ugly people if I feel I am getting to watch something interesting or educational. For example that channel you just linked - what am I actually getting out of that that I couldn't get a better kick out of from a porn site? Nothing. So why even bother.

Are you the one who looks like a hybrid love child of Eddie Hitler from Bottom and Paul Nuttall the leader of UKIP?

all wrong

It's the Alpine....getting all the specialness and rarity down to a price point where 'normals' stand a chance... with a realistic performance level too.

These mega-epic-super-hypers are baubles. Attention grabbing, beautifully crafted, very, very fast and noisy baubles.

I can understand why manufactures do it but it does grind me a little that mclaren in particular seem to constantly throw the keys to these youtubers. While someone who is genuinely interested in getting into the brand buying a 540c or 570s finds it a struggle to get some seat time or even 20 min down the road in one.

Being asked to stump up a cash deposit before a test drive doesn't sit too well when you go away and see some young lad on youtube who probably has no intention of buying being given one to thrash across Europe...

I can understand why they might give one to Seen Through Glass and MRJWW, as they are both in the McLaren family already and are big promoters of the brand.

Letting the likes of Seb Delanney anywhere near your car seems like it is sending out the wrong message.

So STG Sam, despite getting his 540c wrapped only 2 months ago, now wants it wrapped again in a different colour, because ‘the khaki goes a bit yellowy / grey in the sun’. And his other car is yellow. Maybe get that toilet seat wrap technology (above), and apply it to your car, so every 2 months you just press a button….

I doubt Tim/Sam/Paul pay full price to get their wraps done at Dub Customs, if at all. The publicity they have given Dub has transformed the company, its rammed all the time now. So even if they have to pay for the wrap hut not the labour, it's not going to cost much.

With these channels they have to keep it fresh and new, wrapping their cars is a very simple, easy and fun way of doing this.

So after watching the STG Geneva stuff, I've been put off purely down to the 'seen through glaaaass'. Just watch the intros and it will soon be the only thing you notice rofl
