I agree! I'm not offended at all, it's always been my thing to try and find unique content. I know it won't appeal to everyone whatever you do, but solo trips are my favourite because it's not duplicated across channels.
Unique content is great, but when more than one youtuber colab, it's so much more dynamic. The UK needs someone like salomondrin, where it's one channel but covers a number of guys. Just with less dodgyness.

Has anyone watched any of BlackPanthaas' videos? Does mostly video game related car videos but has almost zero knowledge of cars and makes cringe worthy videos talking about stuff he hasn't a clue about.
No idea how channels like that get so many views.
I made the mistake of watching one of his videos and he's since plagued my "Recommended" feed. Very cringey. No idea how channels like that get so many views.

You can Add Archie Hamilton to that group. They are clearly so short of content now that most of their videos seem to be videos about a video one of the others are making.
They all seem to follow the same format now :
1)I'm getting a McLaren 675LT
2)Picking up my new McLaren 675LT
3)Meeting up with all the other youtubers who all have McLaren 675LTs
4)Getting my Mclaren 675LT wrapped at DUB Customs
5)Talking about getting a new exhaust for my McLaren 675LT
6)Going to lots of free manufacturer jollies with SOL/Shmee,Seb,Archie,STG,JWW etc, in our McLaren 675LTs
7)5 Things I love about my McLaren 675LT
8)5 Things I hate about my McLaren 675LT
9)Unwrapping my McLaren 675LT
10)What car am I getting next to replace my McLaren 675LT
11)Am I going to sell my McLaren 675LT
10)Selling my McLaren 675LT
Rinse and repeat.
Edited to be a bit more accurate seeing that every YouTuber has the exact same car. Nothing interesting or exciting, just the same cars rinse and repeat. In fact, I find the videos that Shmee does in his Focus RS and Mini Cooper far more exciting than him wafting about in his McLaren 675LT. They all seem to follow the same format now :

Shmee, do a European tour in your classic Mini Cooper. I'd watch it

It's not a problem with youtube...

Or just simply click the three dots under the recommendation, click not interested, and say you don't want to see anymore videos from that youtuber.

It is. There is no way to block a youtuber/content from getting into your recommended. What "I'm not interested" does is tell youtube you don't want to see something but if they think that there's money in it they will still arbitrarily shove it down your throat - not only from the youtubers you watched but also from their links/recommended. This is well documented online. It's not a problem with youtube...

Er, only Shmee and JWW have 675LTs of the group mentioned. And they both actually very rarely post videos of them now. So your point is rather invalid.Shmee, do a European tour in your classic Mini Cooper. I'd watch it
And if Tim did a Euro tour in his Mini the videos would be thus:
1. Going on a Euro Trip in my Mini!
2. My Mini wouldn't start!
3. We're off! (Again)
4. My Mini broke down on the way to the Eurotunnel!
5. My Mini broke down again!
6. Stranded on the Stelvio!
7. I've broken my spine!
8. I've set fire to my Mini!

I've been watching the recent content from STG and MrJWW.
Anybody else find the "batmobile" boring or just a bit cringeworthy? I don't watch Seb Dellaney often but it would have been better (in my opinion) if he met up with other YouTubers in his new Lotus Exige.
I ignore any Batmobile content now, it was an interesting curio when it came out but no longer. Anybody else find the "batmobile" boring or just a bit cringeworthy? Seb is with them in his Lotus now.

But (to me at least) that would be infinitely more appealing than an incident-free Euro-jaunt in whichever generic supercar is flavour of the month! 1. Going on a Euro Trip in my Mini!
2. My Mini wouldn't start!
3. We're off! (Again)
4. My Mini broke down on the way to the Eurotunnel!

8. I've set fire to my Mini!
It reminds me of a couple of the Harry's Garage vids- sorting out an immobiliser issue on the Testarossa in a hotel car-park on the edge of the Sahara Desert, or blocking the radiator vents with a magazine in an attempt to warm the car up etc.
I actually really enjoy seeing that kind of thing!

Much better content than promoting a specialist cleaning firm as they get dried weirdo teenager spaff off the paintwork.

How does London to Dusseldorf to Zurich to Monaco to Geneva to Luxembourg City to London sound? 2200 miles in 7 days sounds about right?
With the exception of Shmee150 who is an a league of his own, all the others now appear to be out of ideas and/or without the clout to get a genuine scoop.
Their stuff is less and less worth watching and increasingly repetitive as they clearly don't have enough material for the frequency of content they put out. They can't buy a new Lambo or 675 every week, the wrap and exhaust changes are utterly banal, and the roadtrips are just tedious with far too much boring footage.
I think if they teamed up on a permanent basis, upped their clout with manufacturers and produced fewer better videos they'd actually be really good. Certainly STG (especially), SOL and JWW are all good enough. Seb on the other hand is just beyond irritating, and completely unwatchable. Like an even stter Sofia Coppola in Godfather 3.

Can't see the appeal of him frankly. He doesn't seem to do anything interesting with his cars. Just drives to lunch with his hangers on.Top Gear was successful for a reason.
salomondrin'a content used to be interesting back when he did comparison videos with his friends back when he had the Pagani etc (I think he fell out with those guys if memory serves me correctly).
Now however his content has gone downhill with him doing his regular what Mercedes shall we borrow from the Mercedes dealer today.
