Has anyone watched any of BlackPanthaas' videos? Does mostly video game related car videos but has almost zero knowledge of cars and makes cringe worthy videos talking about stuff he hasn't a clue about.
No idea how channels like that get so many views.
I made the mistake of watching one of his videos and he's since plagued my "Recommended" feed. Very cringey. No idea how channels like that get so many views.
It's not a problem with youtube...
I think I ended up blocking his channel lol.

The problem is now everyone with an iphone wants in on it all to the point where there were teenagers stood outside Castle Combe yesterday afternoon waiting for people to leave the public car park. There was very little of interest in the car park and most people would just pootle away. One or two no doubt, upon seeing the kids, would floor it and give them something to post on youtube. Problem is the locals complain that people are driving like morons when leaving the circuit and Combe gets more bad press that it really doesnt need. The kids would have had far more fun had they actually been inside watching the track action, and ironically, got more footage of interesting things, cars on fire, crashes etc etc...
I have to agree with this. I was at Oulton Park on Monday with work and when we were loading our SV back onto the truck, the crowd of people round it was ridiculous.I commented on how I thought it was a bit sad, there was a GT race going on a few hundred yards away and here was 100 people watching a car drive at 2mph onto a truck.
I don't know about anyone else but I'm quickly losing interest in supercar content; it's all got a bit repetitive. Shmee150 is the only one I watch now but even so it's not as fun as it used to be - sorry Tim! On the other hand I could binge watch DannyDC2 all day as it's relatable and it's much more relaxed; feels like he does it because he enjoys it rather than for money.
I'd much rather watch a guy thrash a 'teg around the 'ring than more generic supercar videos.

I'm currently planning a UK road trip with my filming partner, doing a tour of the UK sports car manufacturers taking tours of the factory, driving a couple of cars etc all from a nice fancy press car. Thinking three videos, 15mins long each. What do you lot think?
Basically the other guy is the main presenter and is all enthusiastic and bouncy, i'm like the Statto of the car world with all the facts, figures and actual driving experience of reviewing cars.

The repetitive nature I think is highlighted by three videos posted today by MrJWW, STG and SOL.
Supercars vs spotters from: my Lamborghini
Supercars vs spotters from: my McLaren 675LT and....
Supercars vs spotters from: my McLaren 540C
Haven't watched any of them but assume similar content but from each of the three cars.
On the other hand I like the content from TGE

If you'd actually watch them you'd know that it was a planned game / event. Supercars vs spotters from: my Lamborghini

Not saying its the most compelling content, but it was planned and executed as a single event across their channels.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I'm really starting to love Jon olssons content! The quality of the editing and shots are insane!
My sister have worked with him, and according to her he's only got one speed.. and that's full tilt. Some of his content is awesome, some of it is a bit meh.Petrolhead95 said:

Agreed on all counts.I'd much rather watch a guy thrash a 'teg around the 'ring than more generic supercar videos.
Danny's videos are always top of my list to watch. They're informative, interesting and cover topics/activities us PHers can relate to and/or partake in ourselves.
Tim's recent video about the modified 488 is yawn inducing, but only because I couldn't give a flying fk about another very expensive Ferrari and nothing at all to do with his how he presents the content - I actually much prefer the mature style used in the videos.
Engineering Explained, HumbleMechanic, DRIVETRIBE and the mighty, awesome PH-wonderland are my other favourite automotive YouTube channels. If Steve Sutcliffe could transfer to DT or PH*, I'd be sorted with those 5.
*Not sure if that'd ever happen...

He didn't publish his address. He also won the case so clearly didn't do anything unlawful.

Yes I watched the video. Alejandro posted screenshots of where his address was posted, unsurprisingly Effspot didn't mention that.He didn't publish his address. He also won the case so clearly didn't do anything unlawful.
Two sides to a very childish spat, both have omitted facts from their videos/posts, they need to grow the fk up and move on. The only result at the end of it all is that they're going to lose subscribers.

There was a video that Alenjandro made when he moved out that said he had to move because he found people trying to get into his house, or waiting on the street for him. I thought that spurred Alejandro into BUYING a property hence selling some cars but it's clear that may be incorrect.
The 'public figure' business I think it unfair of effspot to say self proclaimed. Anyone on the internet with such a large presence IS a well known public figure wether they like it or not. This is similar with that Zoella chick, she started to make videos for fun and never saw the fame that may come and when she complained about it in an interview people went crazy because she was the one who posts the videos and if she didn't like it she could easily stop. I don't think it works like that and can see how the general public might get excited at the possibility of meeting someone they look up too. The next step is trying to get into their homes which is a real possibility these days.
There's clearly more going on here than anyone is saying. I have recently got bored of Alejandros videos and I've never watched effspot's content anyway but I am not biased in anyway to one party.

Haha thanks man !!! Hope you like the new video with all 4 smashing it around the 'ring. Was a pain in the ass to make. Probably would be quite easy to a professional but I was struggling with it. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
