A culture which you were once the King of until you got other opportunities and realised it would affect your revenue.
I've never blocked roads, loitered in groups like that, impacted road users etc. I don't consider this remotely the same, it's embarrassing what it has become. In fact it's been so long now since I was involved in it that I didn't even realise it was like that!

WTF???
He's alluding to the fact that Shmee started off by simply filming lambos and the like in London. He's then saying that it's his fault this crowd is doing it now.

That makes no sense, the majority of these kids are photographers, how would that even make them a business? I honestly think it's total rubbish that they are doing this for money, when you're young you do things because they are fun, not for your career way down the line.
I'm sure they do. Same as young footballers they do it all for fun and not in hope that one day they'll become one of those earning 100,000gbp per week. Shmee said:

Don't know about you but when I was younger I was kicking footballs around because it was fun... That video in London is awful. I work in Zone 1 most weeks and have never seen crowds like that before, so it isn't that commonplace.
Only a matter of time until one of them is taken out by a vehicle if they swarm into the road like that.
I don't see it stopping or slowing anytime soon as both sides are getting what they want. The car spotters are seeing their favourite machines and the car owners are getting the attention they so badly crave.

What a sad bunch of tts, worse than train spotters.
I don't have any problem with train spotters or plane spotters. They know their boundaries and are usually respectable older people. Not gobby kids with ipads. They don't get in anyone's way or cause incidents in general. peterattheboro said:
The Spider looks fantastic.
Think his calipers need to be purple as well just to help tie the wheels in a bit. Maybe that's just me though
I LOVE the purple body colour. But I can't help but think it needed to be a little brighter to have more contrast between it and the carbon parts. It could also be the cameras and stuff making it look different.Think his calipers need to be purple as well just to help tie the wheels in a bit. Maybe that's just me though
Love the silver wheels but again, the callipers should have been body colour or carbon just to split it up from the alloy and disc. Or he should have got black wheels but I can understand why he didn't get them and how it all ties in with the interior. I also wouldn't had those interior knobs purple, silver or black would have worked better in my opinion.
Looks awesome though. And it's his car so he gets to spec it how he likes! I can only dream of ever owning such machinery!!

What the actual fk? Just seen that video on the last page and gobsmacked.
To be honest I've never understood the whole supercar spotting thing. I would never look for videos like that on youtube....if I wanted to see or know about a car I would just look at a Chris Harris or evo/autocar review or something....not sure I get the purpose of the whole car spotting thing. Also not sure why people are driving supercars in one.of the most congested cities in the world? Dont the car's belong on a track or something?!

I agree, it was a bit harsh in retrospect. The whole supercar spotting thing is a bizarre and obnoxious combination of nerdery and anti-social loutish behaviour.red_slr said:
Just watched the LT Spider vid. Looks great - good choice of colour / wheel combo.
One thing, WHAT THE HELL!!! You get a brand new top end super car and it comes covered in holograms?!
100% not acceptable. McLaren need to get that kind of QC sorted. I am gobsmacked.
Don't ever look at the paintwork on a Ferrari or Lamborghini; or dare I say it even any of the German manufacturers...One thing, WHAT THE HELL!!! You get a brand new top end super car and it comes covered in holograms?!
