We make no secret of our love of BMW’s range of M cars, be it iconic early cars like the E30 M3 or one of the current range such as the M4 we’re currently running on the PH fleet.

We also know that they’re extremely popular with PHers too, so we’re pleased to announce that we’ve teamed up with BMW in order to bring you the opportunity to test drive any of BMW’s range of current M cars.

So whether you are interested in an M3, an M6 Gran Coupe or anything in between, literally all you have to do is, fill out the form and you'll get a call to confirm your appointment with your nearest dealer. It’s as simple as that and Bob’s your uncle. We’d love to hear how you get on, especially if you end up buying one, so make sure you keep us posted through the forums.

Filled out the form for an M3 drive, will be interested to see what it'll be like!

Certainly can't afford one (yet!) but if they're offering..... Why not!

I'm confused. How is this different to contacting BMW directly to ask for a test drive? What's the point in doing it through PH?

Haymarket/PH probably get a fee for every referral.

My experience of contacting a BMW dealer direct is that the person organising a test drive leaves and no one picks it up so you order a different make of car.

Just missed a phone call and had an email from my local dealer so they're keen to get a drive in it seems!

Will let you know how it goes once it's organised.

Edit: All booked in for 3pm Saturday.

Filled it in, expect to hear nothing back or told no. Not a chance they will let me take a m4 out at 21 as they wouldnt let me test drive a used 5 series a year ago. Worth a shot though tongue out

I was in the i8 for just under an hour, driving for about 45 mins. Was excellent, really good drive on country roads.

I presume the salesman went along with you?

Got a call today, they can't allow me out in a m4 due to me not being 23, they have however said I can take a 435i out.
So that's booked for 4pm tomorrow smile

I had a call back from a salesman this week. When I asked him about the engine in the M5/M6 he said "I'm not sure, let me check the brochure..."

How do they let people sell £70k+ products without knowing what bloody engine it has. Anyway, test drive booked for Saturday, should be fun rolleyes

I'd be interested in this. Presumably the salesperson comes along too?
Wish the M2 was available...

Not sure, didn't end up going on mine yet due to forgetting it was my mums birthday so had to postpone it.

I had a drive of the M3 and M5 back to back yesterday. The M5 actually belonged to the manager, he came into work specifically so I could drive it.

My opinions are that they are both very different cars. The M5 is a comfy barge with a lot of grunt, you can effortlessly destroy pretty much any car on the road without going much above 4500rpm.
The M3 looks more aggressive and has more feedback than the M5, definitely a driver's car.

Negatives of the M5 are that some of the plastics used around the top of the dash are appalling. Our 1 litre Fiesta has better quality plastics. The rest of the interior is lovely though.

The test drive was only short so if I was looking to buy I'd request a longer drive before committing.

The M3 will be a definite consideration when I plan my next purchase in 2016. It has some stiff competition though....

I must be more in hajaba123's demographic than AndyCooperS' - I have heard nothing about the i8 either, but maybe they have hit their sales target where I live! (cynic)!
