I did it a few months ago. I always use tesco at the end of my street pay at the pump. Been doing it for so long when I go t caught out and had to fill up somewhere else I just got in my car and drove off automatically. Can't remember last time I went in a garage. Senile moment no1

Next day the police rang and asked me if I'd used x garage. Senile moment no2 I replied no.

He said are you sure because somebody with a black 300c and your number plate filled up and drove off.

Senile moment number 3 pretty sure officer I always use the tesco.... Then it all clicked doh. He said I had that day to go in and pay or I would be prosecuted.
