Vauxhall Frontera or even a Ford Maverick. Rare and fits your criteria well. These suggestions also save you £14200. Others are a Saab 95 estate or a lovely rover 620TI

Deadly serious they are both better than ops wife's sisters car which he mentioned earlier. If they are feeling really flash then a nissan terrano is the answer

You are severely brain damaged. The Fronstera is a hateful thing and extremely dated with a terrible engine and the Maverfk is another unsafe Ford a la Explorer. Stop speaking bks because they were st from day one and the Kia Sportage is about 500x better!

They are excellent cars. The Kia is boring and rubbish. What about a 1996 Honda CRV or a Land Rover Defender ?

What about an early Nissan X-Trail ? A future classic and a stylish machine. Ford Kuga's are boring and crap. Daewoo Matiz or Rover 100 for city parking is a good idea.

Why not just ask her what she fancies, you might be surprised, my wife currently drives a BMW 325i touring, she wants a 335i next as she wants something with "more grunt" and likes the two exhausts on the 335

I very much doubt you could get a decent evoque for 15k
If u are looking for something PH worthy then a Forester STi is the way forward!
If the Mrs wants something like an evoque though I can't see the STi cutting it.

How about an S4 avant or Passat R36? Premium badge but still very PH worthy.
