If anything I think they look worse than ever on the road but that doesn't change the fact they're bloody good and you can't see the exterior from the drivers' seat.
Ah the good old you can't see the mantlepiece when you're stoking the fire excuse. wink

Me too

Just after they were released into the wild I spotted a gold one pull up at my local supermarket

As the owner got out I said "nice car" to him and got an immediate angry outburst like I was taking the piss
Except I wasnt

Maybe gold isnt the best colour but I still have a thing for them

Mind you if I had 120k plus for a turbo I imagine an FF could be bagged for only a little more relatively speaking - still cuckoo money for me though but in other peoples worlds whats another 70k if you have 130 behind the sofa???

Cheers

They look as grim to me as ever they did, but in fairness they're probably better looking than many modern Mercedes. Some of them look really terrible to my eyes. Still, taste is a personal thing.

Think the German fans will love it, its a loyalty to the brand thing (bit like supporting your fave football team, this might be a glitch in the season but they will stay loyal)

Not the best in my eyes, but there is also a whole lot of stuff out there far worse frown

I actually think in the metal the Panamera is a decent looking car. It does have a nearly supernatural inability to look good in a photo though, it's truly bizarre!

Despite the generally cardinal sin of white paintwork and black wheels, this one actually manages to look pretty good. (And no, I'm not in any way connected with selling it!).

Not for me...the black wheels don't suit and the rear end looks even more bland than usual because of the white paint.

Even when I see them out on the road I still think they look ugly yet as I mentioned earlier in the thread I think it will be a great GT car and I am sure they drive lovely too.

I don't think they are offensively ugly, Porsche were trying something new and went for something really quite different. OK it hasn't worked out great, but at least they gave it a proper go. Their next version has a good starting point to build upon and improve. That I think is why everyone hated the Bentayga so much, because it was quite ugly whilst still very boring and not innovative in any way.

I still respect the Panamera when I see them driving around and don't think the guy driving it is an idiot, just that it doesn't look that great - but ultimately, so what? It's still a nice car no doubt, and not terrible value either on the pre-owned side of things.

It's a bit like me really, I look good in real life yet ugly as hell in photos.

To be honest though, they have grown on me because they (can be) a RWD family car with a V8 and manual gearbox.

I like them, great 4 seater, even the diesel. Had one on loan when the Box was in for a service. A top of the range diesel.
A it was quick, very comfy & full of toys. But it was £75K ouch. As for too big, I followed Paul Mabs (PGM on here) across Italy & up the Stelvio pass. Didn't seem too big there.
