There aren't really any brands I have a pathological hatred for. There are definately brands I believe are *massively* over-hyped though, and I want to keep a healthy distance between me and the collective mass that fawns over these unremarkable cars. Audi. BMW to a lesser extent but it's there for me. The Audi lot makes my skin crawl. BMW sorts tend to be blind to other cars which drive well, and it grates.

There are lots of other brands that whilst not being actively against them, it's very hard to imagine a scenario where there wasn't a long list of things I'd rather have and thus it's unlikely I'd ever have on (Vauxhall, VAG, the French, Honda, Toyota etc).

If I came in to financial hardship I'd have a Kia with a decent warranty or a Ford before some leggy Golf.

I'll never touch Audi with a barge pole. Firstly they they're so common and all look the same, I would hate myself for spending money on something so drab and bleak. Also they attract a demographic of selfish and aggressive drivers (in my opinion). Honestly looking at the current line up, there is absolutely nothing "desirable" or exclusive as it's all sat in the outside lane of the motorway on PCP. I'll never touch anything else out of the VAG box either, VW are hatefully disgusting, SEAT remind me too much of Spain (I dislike Spain after living there) and Skoda are just bland. Same goes for BMW.

Don't know, I've had French cars for the last 10 years. I've never had trouble with any of them. (Famous last words :/)

Anyway, anything made by Aixam,(yes, I know its French) Tazzari, Bolloré, etc.

I have an irrational hatred of VW group products. Have done for years, absoultely nothing to do with the emmisions scandal.

I can't see the likes of any Bugatti Veyrons or Lamborghini Aventadors in your previous car list! What amazing machines are you referring to?
Quite. I was more on about £15k worth of Cayman getting trashed for being 'flash' whereas £30k of leased Volvo doesn't get a second look.

Can't ever see me buying a BMW, I've driven a few but there is just something about them that just says do not buy.

Same with anything French, Vauxhall and Italian.

Never is a very long time indeed. There are certain makes who's range of cars to date have no appeal, that doesn't mean that in the future they may not make a car that carries some appeal.

After the stress Citroen Financial Services caused me on a works lease van I will never buy or have another Citroen, either new or second-hand, again.

Truly the most shocking lack of customer service I've ever come across and the memory of the phone calls still annoys me now!

At the moment I wouldn't even consider a car from a Chinese manufacturer. I'm sure that in the 1970's I might have said the same about a Japanese car, so I'll never say never about any manufacturer.

Peugeots. They are all fking hideous, apart from a few from the 80s.

Vauxhall - don't like sitting in them, don't like driving them - hate working on them

I don't hate them in the slightest, but I doubt I'd ever buy a BMW - just not suitable for my needs - that said, if a mint 8-series was in my grasp I'd be very tempted

Not really bothered other than Mercs.

Despite being held in high regard for their technical innovation and ability I think they are the naffest of all car makes.

That and the fact I'd be constantly scared of someone jumping out in front of me and shouting "TAXI!"

Peugeot for me, I liked the older stuff 405/309/404 etc
But the range from the 206/307 up to date I detest.

Proton.

Designed and built badly and cheaply due to government protectionism in their home country meaning that they don't have to try.

You should contact them with your needs - I suspect they will pay handsomely to find a niche market they haven't yet filled biggrin
