For simple, unpretentious and capable family transport, the Skoda Yeti is a tough one to beat. And while the most recent PH test was on a car that cost more than £30K, they’re good value too. What else would you expect from Skoda? There isn’t a mad vRS Yeti, er, yet but it fulfils its family SUV brief very nicely.

Furthermore, it’s even proved itself off-road in our recent adventure across the Carpathians . A crossover that can actually off-road? Wonders will never cease!

Now thanks to a collaboration between PH and Skoda, test driving a Yeti is easier than ever. Complete this form and a Skoda dealer will be in touch to finalise the details of a drive. Less hassle, less stress and a more pleasant test drive experience! And if you do go ahead and buy a Yeti we would love to hear about. Particularly if you make a 300hp track car from it...

It's only the 'eco' cars that aren't.

Are test drives of Skoda Yetis hard to come by? Are we very lucky?

Once again, why is this any different to just booking a test drive, other than Haymarket getting paid?

Or you could just walk into any Skoda dealer, where you will be welcomed with open arms...

Reported as Phishing. Just the same as the 'test drive a BMW' threads, where you provide your details for a drive of an i8 and never hear a peep. This is just Haymarket sponsored data gathering.

Very POOR.

Easier than clicking the "Request a test drive" button on the Skoda website? The same as every other manufacturer.

Well somebody had to catch up with the Panda, right?

And the Forester, I suppose. They're pretty handy for a jacked up car too.

Other than a couple of people on the i8 thread I haven't heard from anyone who has actually managed to get a drive of one of the 'lesser' models on these promotions, compared to the several of us who have posted we've not been contacted (except for the standard 'we've received your details' email).

any official reply from pistonheads / haymarket to the queries raised on this thread, or do we take it that its yet another data gathering exercise carried out for haymarket in bad faith?

Already knew it was a good car, Clarkson proved it by having someone land a helicopter on the roof which is exactly what i wanted to do with one. 10/10 buy for me, dont need no minimal effort PH review thanks

From my own experiences of this 'promotion' you are at the mercy of your local dealer bothering to contact you. If they are of the old school "email enquiries aren't genuine" then you'll not hear a thing.

Wow... because I had no idea how to book a test drive in a Skoda before this thread was posted.

Heavens to Betsy I might have resorted to calling my local dealer to find out.

Strange that - I'm still waiting for BMW to rush an i8 round to my house for my test drive as well!

Maybe a case of total b******s - or whatever?!

Oh but that Monoqui furniture looks lovely - shame their adverts ruin the download times for threads I actually want to visit!

Not that actually going into a dealer works any better. I'm still waiting to hear back from the Skoda dealer we went into before Xmas, despite his enthusiasm and me having the cash.

Oh, hang on. No I'm not. Bought something else, instead. Tough st, Skoda.

And this isn't the first time this sort of thing has happened. What is it with Brits turning away punters?
