So PH if you had an unlimited amount of cash, what engine would you put in what car and why?

For me it would be a Chevrolet LS3 376/525 V8 Engine ( 525 hp, whats not to like!) in a 2001 - 2005 suzuki grand vitara 4 door , Ultimate 4wd sleepermobile, no one would expect it to muller them in the traffic light grand prix! biggrin

Doesn't have to be money no object or indeed imaginary... I can't immediately think of much that is cooler than this guy's old school XJ6 into which he has transplanted an AJ16 supercharged engine from a much later XJR...

How about this? 555 cubic inches, that's a 9 litre engine producing 720bhp. Imagine ripping the back seats out of some supermini, dropping that in, tricking out the suspension and giving it the beans! hehe

I've said this a few times on here, i would love to take the front end a Celica GT4 (driving the front wheels) and stitch it to the a-pillar back of an MR2 Turbo.

Keep both engines identical and get them both upto about 400hp

800hp and awd should make it quite quick!

Something similar was done on a budget with a corolla/mr2 with seemingly good results - http://blog.caranddriver.com/lemons-goodbad-idea-o...
