I've driven a few of the older model, I thought it was a well balanced car, so I don't agree with the idea that it has a particularly light back end. Still, it's a nice story.

Any reduction in weight on the back end is probably compensated for by it being on the LWB Statesman/Caprice platform, not the SWB Commodore.

I think they look better with steel wheels and no bodykit.
