Probably, should I ask the Mods to delete it?

The crop was done on purpose - ??

I'm glad you found the hooklinesinker.
An idea that I've been churning in my mind for quite a while and decided to go for it & see where it went.
If you wish, let the cat out of the bag on the topic pages.
No offence meant to anybody, it was just a forum game.

Nope. You just came across as a monumental bell end.

If you did what you are implying, then there are grounds for a forum ban for you. Do you want to tell the mods that too?

There is a good chance that you guys have completely missed the point of how a squillionaire views himself and his family.....

A current billionaire that I know of has a fleet of Bugatti Veyrons...... They are essentially his only car choice for him and his children although he did smash up his Enzo whilst his mistress was a passenger (doh)...... http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1028385_russian... By the way his hands are fked if you want to know what those burns were?

A squillionaire wouldn't necessarily have any taste in cars so they will just go for what they perceive best suits the impression they want to give.

So currently we have a fleet of Veyrons and a few servants/bodyguards in Tesla's which were previously Cayennes (till it became cool to have a Tesla)

PS that is the royal 'we' above before some silly thinks I am talking about myself.

So you've been 'churning in your mind' for quite a while and the best you could come up with is a rather wet lie about a photo you took?
What happens when you think on your feet - just st yourself?

Going off topic.

ref Squillionaires There are several collectors on here. And many on Instagram. Without naming names, cars include McLaren F1's, F40s, Zondas, 911's, P1's etc etc. These guys KNOW cars, they've chosen 5-10 great cars that everyone here would admit are significant cars worthy of any bodies "lotto dream garage" (I laugh that I don't recall any of them having Veyron's though. Never liked that thing!)

I don't want these guys to comment (unless they want to) but I suspect none of them are Billionaires. At a guesstimate £5-7M roughly would get you identical garages.

Jay Leno must have spent $100M or more but most of his collection is, to me at least, too weird to be considered a good collection. I think its more about the collecting than the cars for people like him.

Brilliant. You don't know one but you laugh at the idea they might own a collection of Veyrons?

I do vicariously know one and all he owns is Veyrons and a fleet of Tesla's.

My experience is real world and fact (could be verified in a court of law) and yours is a few fantasists on PH.....Bravo !

Veyrons conjure up images of Floyd Mayweather Jr to me. Money, but not really a car fan in the mould of the few people on here.

The fact this person you vicariously know has Teslas as well kind of confirms my point! laugh

I'm not of the opinion these people I refer to are forum fantasists. Maybe the X volumes of a certain thread, and some of the photoshoots by some of the PH pro photographers aren't enough evidence for you. laugh

Well.. I would suggest : If a thread exists on that topic ...adding to it is better than starting a new one....
Otherwise... it is deja vu... yet again...

It is why the "search" function is there.

My only point was that a Squillionaire and a list of cars are not exactly symbiotic of taste.

A poor person may have dreams of :
2015 1956 Ferrari 290 MM
2014 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO
2013 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196
2012 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K Spezial Roadster

But real squillionaires don't live in a poor persons world.....

1. They have bodyguards carrying Uzi's who don't give a fk about protocol and international territory.
2. They swap bags of cash and gold bullion and ignore customs till they get raided and then pay 350,000 euro fines for being naughty.
3. They lose 5 billion but are down to their last 7 billion and don't give the staff cash bonuses.....($100,000 each even for the cabin girls)
4. They love Buggati because in their fked up world it means 'wealth'.
5. They fall out with Putin like it is a mate down the pub.

Don't imagine there are some rich people on PH who even come close to these oligarchs

Hell no. We've not had enough of these yet

Certainly possibly, but maybe not, although definitely probable and unlikely.

It would be if I didn't have to wait for the bi-monthly reports !!!!

Don't get me started on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lakshmi_Mittal and his pizza's from a certain Luton franchise.....
