Yeah, I know. Although this actually has a new 10 speed auto!!! I'm actually ok with paddles for my everyday cars, which this would be, just not my weekend/track warriors.

Apparently, the second deposit they have taken.

Well, the order went in today. LC 500 with Sport+ pack. F Sport White with black leather and alcantara interior. I have requested the factory to make the interior black and white but am waiting confirmation on whether they will be able to do it. I have also added both the Mark Levinson Audio and Head Up Display options. Still no price in the UK yet but US price looks competitive.

For a second, then they fired up the V8 and I heard that lovely naturally aspirated V8 sound and I forgot all about it. I think black leather was the right choice. A lot of the F-Sport models (GS, NX, RX) on the used market come with red leather, and they always seem to hang around for ages, whereas the ones with black leather sell quickly.

Well played - I wasn't patient enough and got something else.But this is defintely on my list!
Took a Sport Plus model out for a test drive today. Friggin' loved it. The way the car switches from "almost" a full on sports car to a seriously smooth GT cruiser is fantastic. Like everyone else I think they should have shortened the ratios for the first 3 or 4 gears to keep the power up near the peak when accelerating hard. Also like everyone else, I think it sounds incredible, particularly the blip on downshifts.
The car looks stunning in the flesh and the interior quality is up there with any car short of a Rolls Royce. The trackpad is a little cumbersome but not as bad as people are making out and it comes with voice activation anyway. The seats are fantastic. They hug you well in spirited driving but are as comfortable as any car I've been in and in this case that includes Rolls Royce.
I am so glad I ordered it when I did as getting one now is gonna be tough. Roll on early August.

Have you seen how beautiful it looks in this colour and with the tan interior? My god. I know it's just a GT car but damn if it looks amazing and sounds amazing. Seems like the NAV system and I-Drive copy is horrific though.
