At first I thought the Corsa driver was some kind of mentalist but on closer inspection I'm pretty sure the old bd deliberately boxed him into lane 1 for quite a while by maintaining his position just behind the white people carrier. The Corsa drivers piss was gaining in temperature and he took the first opportunity to get into lane 2 which resulted in him tailgating the old guy, who then decided to brake test him causing the young inexperienced driver behind to panic swerve into the side of him.

The telling part was when the old guy says 'you did that on purpose', that's because he knew he'd being pissing the Corsa driver about and suspected it was in retaliation.

Technically the Corsa drivers fault but the old guy instigated the accident.

Run that by me again.
Brake tested which directly lead to a swerve into the side? Only if there was a nearby black hole!

Can I just say, regardless of what the guy in the camera car did (and I don't think he did much wrong), nothing, NOTHING excuses the ramming the Corsa driver did. He's way too tense and the inevitable driving ban will only help him calm down a bit. I mean seriously, he drop kicked his own rear window the plonker!

I think this kid has been featured before. Seems to be a proper geeky car spotter who gets his kicks from getting driven about really badly by strangers in fast cars.

The police need to take a look at that.

I was watching when the one at 4:43 happened. They tweeted later that the rider and the pedestrian were unharmed. I was glad of that as I must admit I did laugh at the time.

After exiting the car the Corsa driver says 'I was fking overtaking you why did you do that' he was probably mid lane change going for an overtake when he was brake tested causing him to swerve, it's possible he lost the back end and got a tank slapper or over corrected.

The collision happened right after the brake test which suggests they are related. According to the description the old man was the one the Police threatened with arrest, he's the one heading for a driving ban if he carries on with his antics.

I saw an old bloke sent flying through the air at a junction on Barbara Castle Way where there are accidents on a regular basis. He was dodging across the road on the red man, which was a bad move for an old chap who wasn't fast on his feet. A lot of the problems with pedestrians there is they don't look properly in all the directions traffic could be coming from before dodging across. Nevertheless, the guy who hit him was going pretty fast and was charged with dangerous driving. There's a merge point there that people have high speed races to because neither will give way to the other and lots of people who drive at very high speeds in, usually rented, German performance cars. It's just that particular bit of town and the M65 around Burnley where there are crashes nearly every day.

Sorry, that's my bad for misquoting. People seem to keep calling the red Toyota Corolla that goes up the hard shoulder of the motorway and brake tests an HGV a Vauxhall Corsa. With that and the video that really has a Vauxhall Corsa and some possible brake testing, I'm getting confused.

Difficult to tell whats going on from the speeded-up footage, but the Volvo is indicating - and starting to move over - from the moment the Polo passes the cam car.

The Volva really just plays a bit-part. Some major mashup of excess speed, loss of concentration, poor car control and/or mechanical failure from the Polo is what put him in the ditch.
