A standard looking black UK car too, the driver has put his hands up and admitted it was all his fault, I'm sure the standard traction control won't have done much to assist though. Hope it makes it back on the road, there weren't many to start with.

If it was an auto then possibly when he put his foot down coming off the roundabout it kicked down and spun the wheels up. Can't see it being that violent and instantaneous otherwise.
It was an auto, a combination of a gear change when you don't want it, a handful of boost from the second turbo coming on song, crappy traction control (it applies the rear brakes), wet road, a bit too much air in the rears, spirited driving with an audience of other cars of a similar ilk, inexperience and so on.

Yeah, those slick roads causing all those accidents.
Nothing to do with some of the terrible driving I saw, speeding, tailgating and wreckless behaviour by rows of sticker bombed jap chariots on Sunday.
Wet, cold, roundabout, fast exit, yeh fking road surfaces choosing to be slick and all.......

shame for the car, it was nice

I think in this clip it just shows how easy it can happen! His/hers driving wasn't so bad, not compared to most on here.

Goes on a bit (you can pretty much stop it at 3:10) but this time a pair of German numptys.

Manoeuvre from the camera car at 2:25 beggars belief.

It is pretty bloody stupid driving from all concerned.

As an aside, the A4 autobahn is stupidly fast and pretty traffic free with very high cruising speeds.

Her driving was disgraceful. Diving from Lane 3 at cruising speed onto an exit slip where she had zero visibility!

How could it be any worse?

It's Belgium. There will always be worse.

I agree no preparation at all, this is just a normal day to day drive for some people.

That was terrible driving. There was probably 200m of empty exit available & they chose to swerve unsighted across three lanes.

On the way to Japfest on Sunday. Driver turned around further up the road to help out.

Roads were pretty slick first thing, there were a few accidents on the way in.
Wondered what happened, we passed him when the police had arrived and shut that lane. Such a sad sight when it's a standard one frown

She was on her way to pick her kids up from school apparently. Shockingly bad driving and lucky to get away with her life really. There were pictures somewhere??? of her car after the crash.

At 9.48 in the morning? Do they have really short school days in Belgium?

A few dodgy annotations on that video:

3:51 "Way too fast"... surely the relevant factor here is the blind dip in the road that is preventing the overtaker from gaining a full picture of (or absence of) oncoming traffic? That would have applied even if he were going 30 past a horse.

5:54 "everyone drives over the middle of the roundabout... most vehicles wouldn't make the turn otherwise"... bks. You could get a LWB van around that roundabout, let alone the cammer's Skoda Superb, and ESPECIALLY the Fiesta turning across him. The issue is lazy drivers who can't make the effort to turn the steering wheel yet seem to be on permanent readiness to get on the horn button mounted to it.

10:40 "That was ridiculously close"... Whilst I appreciate that this would never have been an issue had the Audi driver not gone full-retard and attempted a two car overtake on a short straight before an unsighted corner, in the 3 seconds that Auditard was visible to the driver of the cam-car, the cam-car driver made no attempt to mitigate the stupidity of the Audi driver. The fact that the cam-car is clearly pressing-on round that corner, and doesn't have a clear sightline across the corner means he should have been extra-vigilant as he rounded that corner. Could have been a downed biker lying in the road (it happens - I knew a chap who came over a hump-back bridge and found a drunk lying in the road on the other side... stopped with inches to spare).
