Cornering at 300kph on the hard shoulder!!!!

Insanity indeed silly
Doing 300kph on bike in jeans and trainers, though?! wobblesmash That engine sounded nice, it has to be said. It was just a little bit awesome. Still suicidal, mind you.

I always see the hard shoulder as full of rubbish swept off the road by traffic, I wouldn't want to be on there at those speeds.
organ donors
yes it was naughty but...............
The bit that gets me is that the speedo stops increasing with another 2k RPM left to wind up... Absolutely mental.
Most bikes (if capable, litre+ engines usually) are restricted to 300km/h.

OK, you're awesome fella, keep going out and pissing people about and one day someone will hit you, then you will be moaning about it. Or you could do like thankfully 99% of the motoring world does and just motor about minding their own business and let others do the same and not exacerbate situations for your own amusement, ego and dashcam. And your deliberate actions at the lights probably did cause the Golf fkwitt to make the manoeuver he later did, along with his own stupidity and recklessness (that we all agree on) of course.

BTW, what does your vid show for the few minutes up to those traffic lights. For you to have noticed this guy "trolling" people behind, whatever the fk that actually means when driving. Post it up if you like so we can all see.
you've lost your mind, if he let the golf go in front of him at the lights he still would have made the subsequent extremely dangerous overtakes, getting to the front of the pack was clearly always his aim.
So maybe just let him go on his way? OP has no idea why he might have been so keen.....?

I can't think of any situation where my presence would be better served over that of the emergency services....
Quite likely as you appear to be quite selfish and such people are rarely helpful in an emergency, but 10 or so pages of PHers appear to think there may be just cause for getting a lick on.
When your dashcam catches someone lamping you one, please remember to post it up.

Your post was just noise. Wasn't it far easier to say "I think you're a ," rather than your extremely strange smoke and mirrors style post which fundamentally made no sense...

Anyway, that's news to me. Not wanting to get a lick on in an emergency myself and to let the emergency services take care of the situation is considered selfish rofl

Saw this old fellla nearly get himself run over earlier.
Despite only going about 20mph the car in front shows no sign that she was going to stop, narrowly missing him.

Problem with the pedestrianised parts of Exeter city centre. Peds disengage brains and amble about like the walking dead.

I know, but what I'm saying is in the first half of the vid the speedo stops increasing at 299kph which is about 12kRPM. The rev limit that it carries on winding up to looks to be about 14k, so well over its "limit" a foot away from a strip of grass and a car...

yeah whenever I see someone driving like a complete tosser on the road in the future I'll think 'oh I better indicate and pull over as this person is clearly attending to a genuine emergency =)"

And your post is a way of deflecting a genuine argument that you have no answer for. i.e. you have no idea why that golf was in such a hurry. He probably was being "just a nob", but you don't know that and perhaps you should mind your own business a bit more and not deliberately speed up when he is alongside and in front of you? It is possible that he was on some "emergency run" and whilst you may still think he is fair game, 12 pages of PHers' comments generally state most of them have or would do something similar in certain scenarios. You can say it is not worth it etc, and that is fine, but don't ignore the consensus that most would seemingly do it. There is no smoke and mirrors. Accept that you may have either messed some "boy racer" about or someone in a serious situation.

I suspect you do the same when people overtake you anytime, not just away from the lights.
You were asked to post up the whole video and I would like to see it too. Come on, if you are completely blameless, let's have a look at it? Or are you wanting us to only see your smoke and mirrors?

Sorry, but you're being an utter arse here. The other post wasn't about how dangerously you'd drive in an "emergency", but how fast. I was among the first to hint that Sump's actions might not be 100% blameless, but to suggest that ste driving like the Golf's is acceptable because "he might have had an emergency" is, frankly, bks.

You don't drive like a nutter in an emergency. Smoothness and actually making it there is the key! (Pregnant bird and hospital rushes are my experience here)

Oh do wind your neck in. The only emergency the tt in the Golf was in a hurry to get to was the one he was on the verge of creating several times.

If it was an genuine emergency, they would have gone through the red as well - or at least position themselves ahead of the DB9 and waved/indicated or whatever, not attempt a stupid game of TL:GP.

I haven't rewatched the video, but it looked like it was stopping at 13k. At what point of the video was it climbing over? I'll check it out (I didn't watch the whole thing).

When my missus had a bad smack, I drove quite fast to the hazards on overtaking when I could lights flashing to warn other cars...I'm coming thru!

About 2:50 onwards is the biggest push, he drafts another bike right the way up. Impressive stuff to have the balls to do that.

They're pretty stupid though. Have u seen the st that's on hard shoulders? Nails, bits of wood, rubber tyres etc. I've done up to similar speeds occasionally and I'm telling you you can't hardly see st with the helmet jiggling around in the wind etc. To do it for sustained periods passing both sides of traffic is ridiculous, & I'm no angel myself.
