There are some really special "drivers" out there!
Yeah but to be fair, the rules and reasons for barriers apply to others. This was just unlucky that she got caught out this time.
What? I have no idea what you're trying to say.

She drove through the warning lights and stopped when the barrier dropped on her car and the proceeded to drive over the tracks after sitting there presumably checking her FB for ages. She could've knocked a train off the tracks, she has no excuses.

I suspect it's just using the ambulance to clear a way for them to get through traffic quicker.

Throbber!

She was checking the train timetable to make sure it was safe to continue.

I've had a dashcam for about a year, and this is the first thing that's happened of any note.

Travelling north on the M6 just going past Knutsford services. The traffic was heavy but moving at 50mph in the roadworks.
I'm always wary when passing services in lane 1, but I was just thinking "ahh, I won't have to slow down if someone comes out" when this happened. (silly me was assuming they would use the sliproad to accelerate up to speed before joining)

Avoidable by braking at 0:16.
Avoidable by van driver obeying highway code.
In what way?

Having viewed a couple of times I think the van was following the bike around the roundabout in a normal manner. DCW decides to accelerate hard and get in between them when he should have given way to the van already on the roundabout.

Dashcammer's fault, clearly.

It looks like the guy didn't anticipate suddenly finding himself on the main carriageway at that point. It is a bit of a short sliproad with little visibility and little run up as it is there.

It's been a while since I stopped there but if I recall the road markings are still in place on the slip and that effectively forces you in to what is now the temporary lane 1. Poor signage and answer action from the merc. Decent save from the camera car.

I wonder what the camera. We drives would answer when asked "What action did you take to avoid a collision?"

This looks to me like another case of horn early and long and ovoiding action little and late.

I was hoping that the people behind didn't all pile into each other. As I remember there was a white Fiesta or Focus a decent distance behind, but I think he would have had to brake sharply too. It's also difficult to see exactly but I think she sticks 2 fingers up at me at the 14 second mark.

Its fairly obvious that the Dashcam hero can see the van on his right long before the camera, accelerates round the roundabout to try and get in front, van on inside has shorter route to exit and dashcam hero can not yield for sake of losing masculinity. As he passes the first exit he is already racing the van has he clearly accelerates and gets closer to the bike (a 50cc moped so already at 30 by that point!) to close the gap. Just your average everyday dashcam muppet.
