Might I commend the One single thing that makes you think "knob" thread for non-video stuff rather than the st Driving Caught of Cam thread
You are welcome to commend it, but I don't think it's particularly great. Did you mean "suggest", or "recommend"?
Noooooooooooooo not the spelling AND grammar police.

Undertaken on A303 by Lamborghini Driver

not my video
Another driver who wants to passive aggressively police the roads by sitting in the right hand lane. Says he braked to avoid a collision.... bullst.
Ditto. Prat no doubt sitting there at 70 for miles knowing the Lambo was there.

Cam car was in the right hand lane too long.
He wasn't really though, was he? There was a fairly consistent lane of traffic in the left hand lane and the camera car was doing a fair speed in excess of that lane - it's not like he was only gaining a miniscule amount on each vehicle in the left lane, nor were the gaps between (most) vehicles massive. The only gap that was really sensible for him to move into was the one after the van, after the Lambo had gone past. The Lambo driver wanted to press on, fair enough; he saw a gap and went for it, no drama, but the camera car was doing nothing wrong.
In the bit shown, but you wonder in the minutes before how long the lambo had sat behind him while he sat in the outside lane.
Wondering is absolutely pointless because there's nothing to support that - it's nothing but your own wish for the camera car to be causing a blockage.

Listen to the Lambo's exhaust note: it maintains a fairly level note and the volume rises at a constant rate, suggesting it's not greatly varying its speed and is closing on the car. It doesn't sound like it was maintaining the same speed as the camera car and then whacked the throttle open.
Or yours for the Lambo to be at fault?
I would suggest you don't hear the lambo because it was idling along behind and didn't open the throttle until the undertake, plus you don't actually hear it until it's alongside/past (which is expected because of the exhaust pointing away etc).
Yes, I was going to say as much. It's all speculation. The camera car effectively had six seconds with which to occupy the left hand lane - it was passing cars 10 seconds apart, two 2 second gaps (after and before). Who gives a fk about 6 seconds? Anyone who can't deal with traffic has either only just passed their test or has only just arrived in Britain. The Lambo went for a gap, made it, what's the big deal?

Firstly skip the first 90% of the clip as it's a non event

And what's with "The speed limit's 30mph so I accelerate to 38mph just to 'get up to speed'"
If the biker has enough time to edit a video and add lovely graphics why cant he snip out the minutes of nothing?!
I believe it's no demonstrate the error of the Audi driver's comment on 'you keep overtaking people then slowing down', because for quite some time before the incident you can see he hasn't overtaken anyone.

Not a big deal at all.

Cammer wet his knickers over nothing. And I am usually one of the first to blame the cammer.

But I do no see anything wrong with the cammer's driving here, for the reason that I have given: pulling into L1 may (we do not know) have been dangerous if the Lambo was approaching at speed and perhaps intending to duck into L1 for the undertake.

The cammer wet his knickers? When? His kid went "wooooaaaahh that was fast!" but I don't think I heard anything from the driver.

He put it up on the internet with a moan, presumably hoping to get the Lambo driver into trouble.

The spelling mistake was helpfully highlighted in bold.

Which leads me to ponder - why is it highlighted rather than highlit?

So, either the Lambo driver is a complete speed freak knob, who approached at Mach 1, so fast the Cammer didn't see him coming, and performed a dangerous undertake whilst travelling at excessive speed, completely ignoring the cammer may pull over for him.
or
the cammer had sat it the outside lane on cruise control at 70, not moving over as he was doing the speed limit and the lambo got fed up with it and decided to do the undertake, using the Lambos abundance of power for a safe-ish undertake.

I'll admit the gap was small, but without the previous footage we'll never know

First video had further examples of the worryingly increasingly common trend of people going through red lights - not just gambling on amber, but cruising through a light that's been red long enough for the light controlling another direction to have turned green. I see it a lot in Cambridge, and it really yanks my chain - for fk's sake, what is so important about your journey above everyone else's that you can't wait the extra couple of minutes for another cylcle of the lights.

The other trend it illustrated is the propensity for some dashcammers to accelerate into situations. Total helmets.

3:40 is also typical of modern driving. Car in front carries out a bad lane change, so the cammer just rams him rather than braking!

Actually, having now listened to the soundtrack, it's evident that the Lambo was accelerating hard.

Nope. Don't see it at all unless I'm missing it. There's no lines separating pavement from cycle lane, there's no entry point from where the cyclist is, there's no exit on the other side either.
