Is blocking someone driving down the hard shoulder acceptable? I'm not sure about in Russia but it doesn't happen often (that I've seen) in the UK and as much as I hate it, if someone is having an emergency I don't really want to get in their way?

The UK ones are nowhere near as much fun as the Russian ones.
Cars flying everywhere, lorries on fire skidding towards the camera...
In the UK, someone overshoots a roundabout a bit, or doesn't look when turning right.

1:50 ... why do cyclists stare at the road in front of them and not look where they are going ??
More importantly, why does he make a noise like he's having a carrot inserted into his rectum?

Might be just me, but watching videos where people are obviously seriously hurt or killed isn't fun. Still, makes you wonder how they managed to become a world power. I've no idea how they got a rocket into space without it crashing into something

I think you'll find it wasn't all smooth sailing for the Russian space programme. Russian rocket failures

As you can see, they crashed into quite a few things along the way.
Not that the Americans haven't have their off moments too, but some of their car crash videos get quite 'exciting' as well.
I wonder if there's a connection scratchchin

The level of stupidity, pig headedness, arrogance, and lack of forethought that leads to some of those crashes is truly astonishing.

anyone know whats going on with the clip at 1m 20sec. Don't see anything unusual other than the camera zooming in to the rear of the car at the end?

At the risk of exposing myself to much abuse, here are a couple of very minor clips I've caught on my own dashcam.

Someone pushing their way out of a roundabout, didn't feel it necessary to remonstrate:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y7mqLzv8Lg

LHD vehicle plainly not using their mirrors - glad I'd used mine to see the outside lane was clear as I'm not sure I'd have been able to brake in time to avoid a pit maneouver (excuse my reaction, slight volume warning):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Tm-ZC8Jyh4

If anybody's got Adobe Elements then they may want to zoom in on the accident in the outside lane. I have no idea how it happened but a police car on B&T has gone into the rear of a car in front, and then the car behind the police car has gone into that. PC Plod has ended up wedged up on the bonnet of the car behind with the blue lights flashing away merrily. Rather unusual.

Re your 2nd clip, it's always best to accelerate a tad more to get past a van etc. quickly if they are also fast approaching another car in their lane. It was absolutely not your fault, but just more of a defensive approach.
Yes my take on it as well, even before I know the outcome I saw a problem with your driving, you overtook too slowly and was in the blind spot. As said not your fault but avoidable, if you rode a bike you'd understand.

I think the tyre has come off of the rim.

I was being flippant, in order to contrast the two.
I could have used:
Exciting
Involving
Vicariously Exhilarating
...&c...
It all amounts to the same thing.

people who drive like that boil my piss much like the cyclist. dangerous driver.

I have yelled at people but I never wanted to start a fight/follow people (someone did try following me to start a fight though). Whenever I come up to those traffic islands I always position myself defensively towards the center to stop people overtaking me.

Why were you stopped way back from the car at the light for quite a while at the start? Is it just the video that's frozen for some reason?

Right. So in his rush to the back of the next queue, the lorry driver performs a ridiculously dangerous overtake (can you imagine if that banding or any part of the truck had snagged the cyclist?) which genuinely had very serious potential consequences, but your more bothered about what happened subsequently.

Which is absolutely par for the course, of course.

It would have bee a bigger rumpus if he'd done that to me I promise you. I'd have made damn sure that we all ended up in court so the police would have had to give a reason for their usual lack of action.

He shows that to the police in Scotland and he gets done with breach of the peace with aggravated threatening behaviour.
And he'd be all sweaty and worked up and made the situation 100 times worse.
Guy is a stroke or a heart attack waiting to happen.
Or some mad worky is gonnae take him up on his offer and kill him with a set of stillsons
Edited to add to wrongs don't make a right.
Yes truck went for overtake but misjudged the island (or didn't care).
But FFS the cyclist tried to have himself killed on several occasions.
