Asda Mess. Not awful, but just rubbish driving by a few different people all in the space of 2 minutes!

That looks like the Asda at St Austell which has a terrible car park layout (people leaving have to turn across people coming in).https://youtu.be/RGKjcYZVJ2s

I don't think the Police's NFA decision really sends out the right sort of message.
Couldn't agree more. Really disappointing. Its a slippery slope though, where do you draw the line - Angry dashcam man thinks you've done something wrong, council CCTV etc.?
In years gone by errors like this, missing somebody in a dip/hidden by another car, would have led to a brown trouser moment and nothing more - what would have been the preserve of an enthusiastic 17 year old and the third party is now visible to all on youtube...

Not necessarily - I presume as more than 14 days have elapsed for a NIP?

Well, they're happy as fk to prosecute wker motorbikers that go fast / do wheelies for dangerous driving. Here, we have clear evidence of DD, plus leaving the scene (she didn't stop), and no further action. Its a slippery slope though, where do you draw the line - Angry dashcam man thinks you've done something wrong, council CCTV etc.?

What's worse - acting like a bellend but not crashing, or acting like a different type of bellend, crashing, and legging it?
Sadly, although "safety campaigners" like Brake and the police are all over those heathens that do 60 through Manchester airport tunnels, they're all silent when people are dangerous but there's no number attached.

Why are we hearing from a former officer though, what's their official response?
Did you try reading the article?A Humberside Police spokesman said: “Realistically, officers can only investigate when there are complaints from people directly involved or if someone has been hurt. “In this case there has been no such complaint and the Porsche driver in the footage did stop at the scene and exchange insurance details with other driver, making them compliant with the Road Traffic Act. In addition, no one was hurt, therefore no further action will be taken against the driver of the Porsche. The force would like to thank the person who has handed over the footage of the incident, as it will assist with any future investigation if required.”

This is the reality of rented/twocced/lent cars in Bradford/Keighley
http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/1470827...
"AN UNINSURED driver caught speeding at more than 130mph on the Bingley bypass - believed to be the highest recorded by police on the road - has been disqualified from driving for two years.
Kahsam Farooq, 20, who was in a Volkswagen Golf R32, was caught during Operation Steerside, a crackdown on dangerous drivers in the Bradford district, at about 12.30am on May 16 this year...
When he was eventually stopped, Farooq told police the Golf was registered with a man at an address in Thornton, Bradford, and was insured to another man in Settle, North Yorkshire...
Convicting him in his absence of all three offences, they also ordered him to pay a total of £932, which included a £770 fine, £77 surcharge and £85 court costs..."
Too true. Complicated by that Asian names can be misspelt, ownership issues and licence holding but non-driving relatives that can take the rap.http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/1470827...

So basically he got away with it. A fine that he might eventually pay at £1 a month or something and they ban him from driving. He doesn't seem like the type that cares about a ban and will likely carry on driving regardless. I've no idea how you stop this kind of thing unfortunately.

a huge problem with young asian men showing off in rented/leased/borrowed fast cars and killing others
Jeez. That sounds horrendous.Do you have any idea of the number of deaths associated with this kind of behaviour among "young asian men"?
I messed something up there.

I'm just wondering where you found this out from, as it would contradict the general trend of reduced road casualties and deaths...

I'm confused. Your original reply seems to indicate some kind of out-of-control trend causing large and increasing numbers of deaths.

Inspite of your sarcastic reply - take a look at this article if you can be bothered - http://content.tfl.gov.uk/road-safety-of-londons-b...Do you have any idea of the number of deaths associated with this kind of behaviour among "young asian men"?
The car occupant injury table on 23 is interesting and shows that statistically more black and asian youth are injured in car accidents compared with whites.
Where I live in North West London the Pakistani youth in particular are an absolute menace.
