ETA: I see some here are having a pop at the cam-car - that road is residential, 30mph limit (and the camera car was doing just under 30 on GPS so probably indicated 30 on the speedo) and it was 100% the fault of the Crawley Luxury Coaches driver. The CLC driver created the problem with a dangerous overtake in a stupid place.

To be fair that left lane is about to turn into an exit lane and almost everyone moves over really early for it. It's great if you're taking the exit it's seldom busy so you basically have a lane for yourself most of time, pretty annoying when staying on but they're only following the herd.mac96 said:

No. Porsches do not use fake exhaust played through speakers. The use a resonator in the exhaust, all cars have resonance in the exhaust, Porsche just go further than others to tune it.
Porsche have been using fake ecu controlled exhaust farts for years too.At least as far back as the 987 and likely before.
Edit: fake ecu controlled farts have nothing to do with the stereo system that's something else entirely
