^^ can't work out how it managed to keep going... Well, long enough for the driver (thief?) to run for it...

Is it me, or does the cammer speed up suddenly just before the BMW cuts across?

Sorry if posted already.

Last driver must have had a 'superman' moment, either that or he/she was high as a kite.
1:10 he actually turns into the van to force a crash, that is one of the few times I think dashcam needs to be handed to the police.
To me it looks like he may have hit the brakes which has washed out the front end giving the appearance of turning into the van when he may have just been leaning on the brakes heavily.

I'd assumed that too but on re-watching the bonnet doesn't really seem to dip before hitting the van

Agreed, watching it a few times over I'd suggest one of the following:

1 - Mega slow reactions and tries to drive around van despite it already being well over.
2 - Slight oversteer on corner and over corrected (very difficult to see this, much easier to feel)
3 - Aiming to crash

Either way, bad driving contributed to the severity.

Love how he has covered up his speed reading in the video seeing as tho that's a thirty limit looks well over that to me.

I don't really believe in fate, but it clearly wasn't his time to meet the reaper!

Good job you spotted him, but a cyclist has no place on a pedestrian crossing unless on foot himself.

Cam driver at fault.

I saw it coming a mile off.

Hand your license in on the way out.

..have I covered it?

I believe the cyclist may be skating on thin ice if the car hit him, seem to recall a case some years ago, whereby the ruling was the driver didn't hit a "Pedestrian" as he was on a bike.

Shouldn't drive over a zebra crossing unless clear - I'd put the blame on both the bearded cyclist but also the car driver.
