The "Sh*t Driving Caught On Cam" Thread Vol II

Totally wrong, you have a dash cam, you should have accellerated into an accident because you have dash cam immunity. Munter said:
To be fair the focus never stops moving, better anticipation of awareness that the focus heavy stopped rolling would have negated such hard brakingpits said:

Mercedes REVERSES down live lane on M6
The article goes on to say;
"Some on the Facebook page defended the driver, saying they made a mistake."
Not at all worrying that some people thought this might be acceptable.
Mental - I can never understand why people take such risks all for the sake of driving 4 miles to the next junction.The article goes on to say;

The level to which normal human risk assessment ability is lacking in some people is enough to make you wonder if our species isn't close to the end.

Filmed on a council estate so no surprise. Complete non event driving wise but this woman with the Corsa just empties all her rubbish onto the floor and drives off.

Nutter of the year award goes to....Very strange, he seems to be remonstrating with them at the start with no intention to get nuclear, appears to be taking pictures of them so he must feel they were in the wrong. Something seems to have been said and he snapped.
He stopped after the drivers screen, was heart in mouth moment there as expected him to stab at the driver with the shovel through window.
Judging by the grappling, he is not an experienced thug, so wonder if the solicitor will be saying "judge my client is a father of two, happily married charity volunteer with no previous..."

Would not reacting to such bad driving mean people are more likely to repeat their actions?
It sometimes feels good to blast you horn and shout at some prat. But does it do any good? Or does it just make the other driver angry and more likely to do more of the same.
Should we just act as if nothing has happened or show some displeasure, does it do any good and should we let the police do their job.
Humm

I suppose initially there'd be that annoyance that some drivers have when their mistake is highlighted but in the long run you'd like to think if it was constant it may sink in. Whether they become more belligerent and drive like a moron more often I don't know. Would not reacting to such bad driving mean people are more likely to repeat their actions?

I have beeped people when they've been near my car, changing lane without looking etc. and had a hand up as an apology. I have also apologised when I've made a mistake as we're not all perfect.
Thing is that kind of driving is the kind of thing I would expect of my mum's next door neighbour. They are lovely but scatty. Both of them drive terribly but the wife is shocking. I've known them 20+ years and even as a kid we'd watch her trying to park her car (which have always been tiny) and failing. Always see it scraped and scuffed. I can imagine they'd reverse to get to the junction they wanted with an almost stupid naivety of, 'Well I missed my junction' like that was all the reasoning required!

How on earth were you raised as a child? Giving them a blast on the horn or flicking them the bird may or may not make them think about what they've done, but I guarantee completely ignoring it and letting them go on their merry way certainly won't have them pondering what a monumental fktard they've just been.
Somebody stupid enough to reverse in a live lane should have their licence taken away permanently as if they're stupid enough not to see the problem then they're clearly too stupid to be in control of a vehicle sharing the roads with everyone else (who isn't a monumental fktard).
