Should we just act as if nothing has happened...
How on earth were you raised as a child? biggrin

Giving them a blast on the horn or flicking them the bird may or may not make them think about what they've done, but I guarantee completely ignoring it and letting them go on their merry way certainly won't have them pondering what a monumental fktard they've just been.

Somebody stupid enough to reverse in a live lane should have their licence taken away permanently as if they're stupid enough not to see the problem then they're clearly too stupid to be in control of a vehicle sharing the roads with everyone else (who isn't a monumental fktard).

WTF ?

Why did you feel it necessary to question my upbringing?

We get so many polarised views commentating on these videos. So many seem to hold a self righteous view of how they don't respond to bad driving that I was questioning what is really the 'right' thing to do.

Calm down, poppet. I wasn't questioning your upbringing.

It was a rhetorical question to point out your parents (almost certainly) didn't just ignore every bad bit of behaviour from you. Bad behaviour has consequences.

Calm down, lol.

I see you mean, how do parents bring up children. Interesting to bring up the parent-child model. Is it at all effective on the road ?, given lots of the bad drivers are already in child mode, it's the expected response and may actually be marginally effective. Certainly adult mode is not going to get anywhere.

just why did you feel the need to make it personal, poppet.

Let me spell it out: it wasn't personal. I was pointing out how parents don't just ignore bad behaviour. Yours, mine, anybody's.

As I said, ignoring everything will have zero effect; beeping your horn or similar MAY at least have SOME kind of effect, therefore, ignoring it is pointless, unless that's your thing. In which case, ignore away.

Kid driving the Polo is clearly a , out looking for confrontation. Dashcammer is a because they clearly speed up to attempt to block the Polo from entering "their" lane. They could also have just pulled over and left Polo boy to it instead of achieving the square root of fk all by getting involved.
he's a scrawny little st, I bet he looks carefully at the person he's about to intimidate before doing so - most would easily kick the st out of him in a confrontation
He'll have picked out the woman filming as someone he could intimidate but the clash with the grey Polo at the end was his complete lack of attention. He could have a collision or near miss with a knuckle head as he's focused on bullying a woman he thinks he can intimidate.

Am I the only one that thinks it's fake? It's too perfect, and NO-ONE would wear that vest with those glasses and that jewellery outside of a Daily Mail fantasy of what a chav looks like, with a pretty poor impression of the accent too.

The start of the video, the car is rolling really slowly and then accelerates out in front of the bike, totally unnatural unless intentional, but then later on the driver doesn't seem that bothered about the biker. I call shenanigans, although they've done pretty well to get national media coverage seeing as they only joined youtube yesterday.

I want to believe it's real but there is a bit of me that isn't so sure. The car came to a stop fairly quick yet the phone didn't slide off, most new phones are like greasy eel on most surfaces so it's a surprise it didn't slide down the windscreen. The guy picked it up off the roof in a way to suggest it was stuck down rather than the normal way you'd pick up a phone from that angle.

I hope I'm wrong though and that it's real.

I can't work out what they are doing, any ideas? I thought reading a newspaper but it seems a lot more frantic than that.

I can't believe I wasted the time watching the whole thing expecting the Merc to get terrifyingly close at some point.

And WTF was the cam car doing in L2 for the first 55 seconds before passing the Volvo? That's about a mile to reel in a car in L1.

My wife drove 10 miles with her iphone (in a case) on the roof.

I hope it's not real. Smashing a 400 quid odd phone just because someone presumed that the bloke beeping on the bike was a mentallist not a friend doesn't seem that fair to me.

Standard behaviour for the A34. No idea why that bit of tarmac attracts so many who feel unable to use the inside lane.
