With the greatest of respect HTP99, I called you out for even thinking of an excuse
What you did is respond with a protracted personal rant and call someone a tt for the crime of holding an opinion you disagree with about an internet video. If you want to show respect, disagree like an adult, explain your position and leave the personal insults out of it."I called you out for even thinking of an excuse" - unbelievable BS that you think you have the right launch a totally unprovoked personal attack because they dared to even think something that you disagree with.
Personal insult....check
Personal insult based on opinion.....check.
Thanks for explaining the internet to me, clearly you are the internet police and I can only apologise profusely for expressing my annoyance and indignation at apologists in action, no matter what the content of whatever video.
I bow to your bold text and promise to hold my tongue whenever I see people come up with the most ridiculous excuses for basic law breaking, at no point do I now think that the excuse maker is worse then the offender and hope that all, including the RR driver forgive me for such accusations.
I understand I have no rights whatsoever to verbally attack or indeed disagree with anyone either in the free world or indeed on your internet.
PS: not wanting to annoy officer Bennet in any way but regarding the comments about the RR being flagged for other reasons, round here panda cars have no anpr, might be different in the clip but barring the headlight excuse I believe the police worked out what happened, hopefully they PM'd Bennet before they caused any kind of confrontation as we wouldn't want anyone upset, or insulted..............
More videos please before Bennet gets annoyed and insults people for insulting other people ...........

I think I recall reading that was in Japan and the guy was possibly Yakuza? Would explain his demeanour and menace.Europa1 said:

Or in other news, cyclists going too fast to stop and using whole road unexpectedly meet a vehicle coming in the other direction?Byker28i said:

Cycling in the middle of the road around a bend and going far too fast to be able to tighten up their line. Hardly the "helpless cyclists" the Wail suggests they are.xRIEx said:

If you met Mr tt in the car coming the other way while driving you'd have just had a head on.

Personally, I'd be travelling at a speed where I could stop in time. You may have have a head on, but then I'm not you.

Exact same thing happened to me on my first accident. Big artic in middle lane at a city junction (he was about 3/4 way down the queue or maybe 10 cars), me travelling up its inside because that's the lane I need, trucker leaves a gap (he was stationary before I arrived) and flashes another driver through and me not being able to see through walls we collided (about 25mph incident) A valuable lesson learnt on both our sides, trucker drove away like nothing happened though, and there's no way he didn't see it because the other car stopped right in front of him. Settled as no fault on my end.
Never let people go in these situations, he was better stuck in the middle being a mild obstacle for a few minutes

Even better, don't drive on the wrong side of the road on blind bends...
Yeah, I tend not to. I also don't assume that the road is completely clear around that blind bend, and I don't assume that the road is empty of muppets.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
