Yes that one always makes me laugh. 'Too big for British roads'... I wonder how van drivers cope then?
So you're saying the Mustang is no more fun to drive than a van? No-one is saying it's impossible to drive it on British roads, just that on some types of roads the width will make it less fun than it otherwise would have been.

Than it otherwise would've been meaning smaller?No-one is saying it's impossible to drive it on British roads, just that on some types of roads the width will make it less fun than it otherwise would have been.
Thing is, anyone complaining about it being too big is missing the point; it's not supposed to be a car to be thrown around narrow little roads. It's a big comfy cruiser that happens to cope with nice flowing roads extremely well if you're in the mood, which is why the comparison with the Focus RS is utterly pointless as well. The only similarity between the two is the badge and the price. Aside from that they're chalk and cheese.
The Mustang is, for all intents and purposes, the exact same size as a MK4 Mondeo estate so no, it's not the car to be driven quickly down some nadgery little lanes. It can do it, but it's size means you'll be taking more risks. If that's what you want to do then it's not the car for you, but to come out with a blanket statement of "oh, it's far too big for our teeny British roads" marks you (not you personally) out as someone who probably hasn't even seen one in the flesh, much less driven one.
