Nor would you buy a Cayenne for how it looks.
Original Cayenne was an awful looking beast, the first evolution GTS seemed to lose a lot of the princess Fiona looks, the second gen really is quite a decent looking car. In honesty I can't get excited by the looks of either of them, RR or Cayenne. But I do believe they'd be a blast to drive, power drifting over grass verges. Fields would become interesting places.

That'll be a hell of a car when it's £30-35K - in about 4 years time then
I know you've got a at the end..... But my brother in law has just been offered more for his 10 month old SVR, by the supplying dealer, than he paid for it! I didn't think I'd ever hear that about a JLR product.how does it compare to one of these?

Um err
Better in every way?
And I've had a vxr8, original overfinch 630r and a 4.2 supercharged remapped and exhaust.
This svr looks no different to those without knowledge but sounds great.
It's quick for a rrs but appeals as it will deliver that performance 365 days per year in uk, whereas my cls biturbo with dms fiddling will not!!!!
I think it will retain a certain "specialness" in cost and desirability (linked) thus retaining the original objective as being best ever product from svo lr in the current climate, unless you want a grey vogue driving through woods like the start of Emmerdale.
But I live not far from Meridien, have bought various cars from them.....and it does look good in grey or black!!!
