I'm not trying to argue that at all, although I'd much rather have an E39 M5 as a weekend GT than this. What I am actually saying is that all of the factors which should make one want an expensive sports car/GT - pretty, good noise etc - are missing from the Cali.
So one can't find the California pretty ? Nor like its noise ? I think those things are quite subjective. It would seem that someone with a choice between one and a E39 M5 has actually chosen the Fezza. Are they wrong ?

It's totally subjective, you utter clown. Why are you citing your own very subjective opinion as if it's a measurable, provable fact? Just stop.

Guys, you know the saying:

'If you feed a troll...'

You are your own worst enemies here. This thread just needs to die now.

There's a chasm of difference between a troll and an imbecile.

Not really on topic with complaining about engine noises we've never heard but what really pulls my chain about the California is that there are no group 2 child seats (ages 4 and above) that fit which sort of defeats the point of the back seats.

Well, maybe it is subjective, but over 50 years we've come to know what a Ferrari is and does. The California isn't. It's much closer to a Maserati, and not a particularly desirable one at that.

Do you include yourself in the "we" ? Do you also include Ferrari owners ? Are they bound to be a better judge than someone who has never even driven one yet sounds like an absolute authority on the topic ? It's all subjective and if someone's subjective opinion is utterly irrelevant and baseless, any reasonable person would say it's yours I'm afraid. Maybe you should get a test drive and report back ?
