Holy Grail cars?
Discussion
This doesn't apply to me specifically , but being part of the MR2 community i give you this.
The SARD MC8
There is only one Road going version.
It was based on the Le Mans MC8R of the late 1990s
Nobody knew where it was for years , then about 2 years ago now it surfaced in Japan and was for sale.
It sold again rather quickly and has vanished once again!
This would have to be the holy grail of the MR2 world
This link here shows pictures taken when it was for sale.

The prototype centre steer Series 1 Land Rover< does it still exist somewhere or was it cut up for scrap.
It still exists. Check out the Top Gear episode which featured Will Smith & that gorgeous Aussie actress whose name I can't remember.
Hammond was filmed sitting in it (The Land Rover. Not the Aussie actress).
Also there was a feature on the centre steer Land Rover in Land Rover Monthly around 12/15 months ago. I have the issue somewhere I think.

Aston DB6 in Vantage Specification. This exact colour combination too. My father had one in the 80's. The bonnet chopped off the end of my lefthand middle finger in 1984. I think of that car every time I look at the scar. I'd love to track the owner down someday and buy it back.
Too late, bro; let it go.

The tip of your finger?

Budaum tish! Too late, bro; let it go.
The tip was re-attached (very poorly). I subsequently caught it in a door 6 months later and it was tidied up somewhat. Looking back on it I'm surprised I wasn't put up for sale.

Ohh, what I would give to have that.

For me it was always the Alpina B12 5.7 Coupe
After years of searching I managed to buy the only UK car ever sold. This was one of only 4 RHD B12s produced but more importantly the only one based on an 850CSi (The other 3 cars were built for the Sultan of Brunei and were based on the standard 850i due to a shortage of CSIs available). It is number 47/57 and the only B12 painted in Avus Blue which just happens to be my favourite BMW colour. Undergoing a full restoration at the moment but looking forward to the day it looks like this again:

Just any of the old triumph prototypes such as the 3000 (drag v8 in a 2500), awd 1300 (genuinely built and can be built as parts are still available) , and the mule car for the tr7 which was a triumph 2000
I used to know of a 2000 estate, Stag engined and 4x4 rotting in a builders yard.I believe it's since been rescued and restored.
