Just any of the old triumph prototypes such as the 3000 (drag v8 in a 2500), awd 1300 (genuinely built and can be built as parts are still available) , and the mule car for the tr7 which was a triumph 2000
I used to know of a 2000 estate, Stag engined and 4x4 rotting in a builders yard.

I believe it's since been rescued and restored.
probably canleys rescuing it, i think they have quite a lot of the prototype triumphs. i know they have a few estates and stag enginged 2000, they also have the 4x4 gearbox that i could use to convert my 1500 dolly to awd. shame i cant find fwd front hubs, once i get my hands on those, i'm going to go for it.

they also have some race only parts from the factory le mans team which i would love but i doubt they sell them. things like an 8 port cylinder head for a spitfire would be nice

I would love another of these.

Volvo 265GLE Estate. V6 2.6L, full leather, aircon and other luxuries. Not bad for 1979.

Only 7 left in the UK.

80's Ford fan boy...

As for how many? Nobody seems quite sure, but less than ten survived...
There was one in Hereford a couple of years ago at quick Motorsport. It was under a cover, i saw part of the front bumper poking out and asked if I could have a look. They obliged.

I was never a fan of the mk3 escort until I saw that car. Really strange looking thing but you just know it's special. One side of it was a genuine Sierra RS500 in concours condition and on the other side was an ex works group A escort cosworth. So much want in that place.

There are a couple of cars I would do pretty much anything to own.

Ford racing puma. I nearly bought one a few years ago but lost out by a couple of hours.

Porsche GT3 RS 4.0. I saw one at a track day at oulton park. I just fell in love. For me, it's perfection. Sadly, without a lottery win I will never get close to owning one.

Impreza 22b. A chap I knew had one and did nothing but abuse it. I could have cried every time I saw it. Pissed up at a party he raced his mate in a Range Rover across a field, Doughnutting it in said field and to make matters worse he just drove it out of his garage stone cold and hammered it round the field for half an hour. I mean HAMMERED. He sold it eventually covered in scratches and st. 22b with 22000miles for £22000. It went into a rally fans collection. I hope it was treated better with him.

MK1 focus RS. The road presence from what is based on an average hatchback is what does it for me. Had a brief drive in one and just adored it. One day rodners, one day......

Pity the whole program surrounding it is fake. I don't doubt the legitimacy of the model but what kind of moron takes such an item to a pawn shop where they're going to offer him 50% of its value if he's lucky? Didn't happen.

Just revisited this thread. The photograph on the front is a 6.3 wide-body Virage. The words on the back are taken from the Top Gear episode when Clarkson drove the black Vantage prototype.
