When you are going to all that trouble why not make something that is beautiful as well.

Have a look at past Aston Martins, Ferraris, Lotus and Jaguars etc and get some styling ideas before making the buck.

The rear might be effective has a slight F40 look to counter rear lift.

Wonder whether warranty includes some track use (track days). If yes then this is very desirable.

Looks better than a Zenos though...

I quite like the simplicity of the back; the front is awful.

It is a limited warranty as I believe, but this is down to engine mainly. They are using a crate engine direct from Ford, so if you were to blow it up then that wouldn't be covered. Other parts I doubt they would leave you in the lurch.

I saw the car at the show and in the flesh thought it looked fantastic. Very small, tiny overhangs, beautifully simple and different to everything else at the moment. Interesting that people on here seem to be comparing it unfavourably to a Zenos. The Zenos stand was almost next door and I had never seen one in the flesh before and I thought they were horrible. Interesting that we are all different. I am still sorting out my man maths and creative accounting to see if I could justify one. Much more interesting than a Caterham and similar price. I assume it will go well on the basis of the track miles and race series at Castle Combe. I wish them good luck and will keep an eye out for the first production versions.

I think purple only goes to make it look more kit/chav than it might in more subdued hue.
I think it's just the lighting balance in the first pic on the Pistonheads report that a bit iffy. The later pics give a much better impression:

Certainly, my memory of it at the show was that it was much more of a metallic grey/gunmetal colour with just a hint of purple when the light hit it from certain angles. It was, in fact, much more subdued and really quite classy. Here's one of the pics I took, which backs up my recollection:.

I thought it stood up very well to comparison against the Zenos on the next-door stand. smile

Now the race car that's purple!!:
