Needs over 600bhp and to be hitting 200mph IMO.

Completely irrelevant statistics but it's all about penis waving with these cars.
Yeah cause 575bhp is just never enough. rolleyes
Not compared to rivals. Jag are like Aston, they never seem to match the power of their rivals, much less be quicker than them.

Like Aston Martin, Jaguars are for people more inclined to drive the car than sit boring everyone talking about "how many ponies it has innit"

Great news! Although a part of me would still love a hardcore version based on the V6S manual coupe to be the SVR.
I've said this on here before.

A stripped out, rear-wheel-drive, manual V6 S would be much more fun than this. Dump the sound proofing, fit lightweight bucket seats and wheels, upgrade the engine internals to make it rev more freely and maybe turn the boost up a little. Call it a 'Clubsport' or something like that. Now that would be a real driver's F-Type.

I've not doubt the SVR will be a riot, but its not as if the regular V8 S is slow now, is it? All Jag need to do is look what Porsche did with the GT4. Enthusiasts can't get enough of those, can they?
Even if I had the money for the SVR I think I'd still take a V6S. The V8 with its awd and bodykit is just a bit too much for normal roads. My perfect spec is br green, panoramic roof, turbine wheels, tan leather. No "black pack", no "R-Sport" nonsense. Lovely. If I was feeling really adventurous I'd get them to do a custom bonnet with XJ13-style louvres instead of those silver intakes.
