So other than being uglier, slower, worse handling, lower revving, slower shifting, and all the rest - remind me again - what has the 360CS got going for it over a Speciale?
The speciale does not sound anywhere near as good, and is no where near as good looking, to most eyes...

How much are normal 360's ? 50 to 80 k ?
Always amazes me how a few mechanical tweaks to ostensibly the same thing means they are worth several times more. Appreciate they made some pretty impressive changes but I would expect it to be worth a bit more, not six or seven times more but I guess its just supply and demand.
Back on earth, was curious to compare prices on a racing Puma and a normal Puma 1.7. £13k versus £750! Somebody thinks its worth it for these "specials" and who am I to argue.Always amazes me how a few mechanical tweaks to ostensibly the same thing means they are worth several times more. Personally never liked the 360 styling and agree the 430 or 355 was nicer. however a £50k 360 must be a good buy and blooming nice to enjoy. Bubble? more likely to be plateau IMO, but with Fs, someone is always going to want one and they are in limited supply.
Just to be really miserable I prefer the 348/355 sized Fs before they got too big as a 360 for stone walled roads oop north.
I was lucky enough to buy my CS at the very bottom of depreciation curve. I would never be able to afford it at the current price levels. I feel like the car owns me actually... but I still drive it as much as I can.
Is the car worth all that money ? I don't know, but if you compare it to the price of other fcars, then I would say it's quite well positioned. I mean, there's a ton of difference between a CS and a 360. It's a completely different driving experience. I wouldn't swap mine with a 458, price aside.

Come on lads. You all know it can't last. The 360CS isn't worth a fraction of the asking prices and you all know that too I suspect.
There is a 550 Barchetta for sale for £699,999 and it's not even the most expensive one for sale in the ph classifieds! The 550 is another deeply underwhelming car to wear a Ferrari badge and someone's asking F40 money for one. How many more alarm bells do you need? That will be down below £200k where it belongs in no time.
There are 40 flat 12 Ferraris for sale in the ph classifieds alone. 40! The smart money knows it's time to cash in the chips.

The 360 was ruined for me by this guy,

Driving one with an semi auto gearbox of impressive dimwittedness didnt help.

I can't see the bubble bursting anytime soon, volatile stock markets push investors towards safe bets. The pracing pony is almost a guarantee of maintaining value or rising.
I'm sure i seen some leggy 360's for £35k-£37k a year or so ago, perhaps the F430 has bottomed out at £70k mark?

Do people forget what a disappointment the 360 was?
360CS won Autocar's Performance COTY 2003, beating the 996 GT3 & M3 CSLYou do realise that at the time you could purchase both a 996 gt3 and an m3 csl... and still few thousand left instead of buying a 360cs.

I always thought there was something distinctly aftermarket about the 360 design, particularly the CS.
The wheels don't seem to sit flush with the body or go with the design, the headlights an an afterthought, the stripe looks naff, and the seats look too large for the cabin. That said wasn't the 360 engine more aurally pleasing than the 430 that followed?
But then what does a pauper like me know
Agree, if Ferrari made a kit car trying to look like a Ferrari it would look like a 360. The headlights are so naff. It looks like they spent about 4000 lira on the materials. The wheels don't seem to sit flush with the body or go with the design, the headlights an an afterthought, the stripe looks naff, and the seats look too large for the cabin. I'd much rather have a F355 or F430.

The F430 looks like a sharpened up F360. They obviously used the 360 as a practice go after all those pop-up headlights.
Are you telling me that's good looking?
