WTF is with the price of V-Power at the moment?

Anyone ever seen a scientific test between V-Power and Tesco Momentum 99? I seem to remember when it came out (about the same time as premium fuels went from 98 to 97), it was stated that it wasn't as quality an alternative?

I won't touch Tescos. In my car the economy nose dives with 99 compared to standard Shell.
