Car door dented in car park
Discussion
Just got back to my car, parked in a multistorey car park to find a long but shallow dent in the drivers door which lines up with the rear passenger door of an XF Jag parked in the next bay.
Typical of many multi story bays in that the bay is too small, especially for a larger car.
Reg number taken of the Jag and left my phone number but I expect he will kick off and say it wasnt him, and I cannot prove otherwise, especially now that I have moved my car.
Anyone know a good dent repair mobile service for West Yorkshire?

Clearly you havent parked squarely in the parking space and therefore you have been punished for this.
OR, its clear you take pride in your car and therefore need taken down a peg or two.
Just as well you didnt park away from all other cars as that warrants getting your car keyed these days.

I used Dan at Pure Dents: http://www.puredents.co.uk/ Think he's based in Armley/Wortley but he comes to you.

Car was parked squarely in the space Daemon, but you are probably half right, I take pride in my car and dont like dents or dings or scratches.
I am sure you were but people feel "justified" these days and no-one takes ownership when they damage other peoples property.I feel your frustration.
Some people are just morons, I quite often sit in my car and have a coffee and its unreal how many people just push their door open hard straight into my car.
The always look shocked when I get out and complain and its pretty clear they wouldn't do it if they knew I was there.
Having said that it's rare for any damage to be caused unless someone really give their door some welly.
Good luck with chasing the other owner though.

I park in a multi storey for work, my car has a few very shallow dents only visible if you look down the wing at an angle.
At the car park in question, if im early enough i park in the half circle shaped space on the inside of the curly road to get up to each level. It means you can park by yourself and its big so there is no risk of someone driving around and hitting your car.
Usually an 02 plate Fiesta there in the morning though as i lay in too long.

But unfortunately no matter how defensively I park, I am yet to be in such laudable company....
I use Danny of All Out Dents... http://www.alloutdents.co.uk
He's based in Ricall but covers all W Yorkshire etc. Done a lot of jobs for me, even more complex stuff using the glue tabs. Amazing results. Nice fella too.
