If it's any help, I do also own something ridiculously thirsty (yet laughably slow) with leaf springs, a live axle and a cast iron block, just so you don't feel too much out of your depth.
I also own such car,I named it big nasty for reasons I can't remember sober

Got an LSA in my car. Is that "man enough" for you? You are coming across as a bit of a bellend tbh, but try posting in the correct area of the forum and you will actually get some semi-serious answers. Though I guess Yankees still haven't learnt what sarcasm is.

Not a clue about suspension settings though.

Ta, only fettling so far is a minor adjustment to boost bypass valve and clean up the fuel mapping smile

The most depressing fad in America right now is everyone suping up these massive diesel trucks called smokers, you can probably hear them now yelling over the sound of the gigantic turbo talking about how hot their cousin is. Look it up on youtube, that's what I have to look at every day. Picture this, I'm accelerating from a stop light,I look over, every one is looking at the truck behind me saying, sounds good. Now I'm an avid gun owner, because let's not beat around the Bush,I like to put holes in things, but it makes me want to eat a bullet. Just you better hope that it doesn't "make it across the pond"

How much boost are you running and what engine? We don't have those here, at least I've never seen one. Oh and what the Hell is that?

America is a driver's paradise, I'm 28 and on my 11th car, we live in them, my cousins I'd never met before, drove out from utah a few years ago it took them 4 days, I've heard you can make it in three if you drive in shifts. I spend on average about 2 hours in the car every day. That's to and from work and to the market and back. That is why cars mean so much to Americans. Even the homeless live out their cars. Your not truly poor unless you have no ride.

9ish psi. It is a Chevy LSA in a Vauxhall VXR8 GTS. You would know the base car as a Pontiac G8, but it is really a Holden Commodore fettled by HSV. It put down 476 to the ground before I remapped it, but haven't re-tested it since.

I'm visiting a friend in Atlanta for a couple of weeks soon, looking forwards to going for a drive on the mountain roads.

Couldn't find a company that would rent anything interesting and American for reasonable money though so ended up going with Mercedes/BMW. Would have liked a Corvette/Charger/Mustang V8, but hey we're either unavailable, very expensive or could not guarantee the model.

Low food-miles, though...

Have you actually driven anywhere else?

I've driven from Boston to Sacramento, down the east coast and turn right just before Florida, and staying off the big routes as far as possible. Yes, including Blue Ridge.

There's the odd really nice bit, but there's a HELL of a lot of "Oh, go(o)d. Only 200 miles until, well, nothing at all."

On a lighter note the reason I bought a cobra is they are about as rare as a lambo here. I cannot stop at a gas station without someone saying something.when I saw it I knew if I didn't buy it I might not get another chance. At the east coast cobra shoe last year, the biggest this side. There were only 37 present not including mine. I missed the deadline lol. That being said I'm pretty sure I'm going to debadge it, I've seen cops about break their necks looking at it and we now exist in a police state where the cops carry ar15s and wear combat armor for traffic stops, Canada is looking better every min.

Nice looking Cobra.

Reminds me of my old '03 GT. Never did handle very well.
