That looks fantastic.

If my numbers came up on the Euro millions I'd probably go for one.

690bhp @ 8000rpm, it doesn't get much better than that does it! And as for the comments about depreciation and residuals down the line... get a life! Those that can afford to order one from Ferrari probably don't care.
There is an FF that lives on my road, used as a daily driver and used 'well'. Often follow him down the Motorway and on the A/B-Roads home (through the Manchester Airport Tunnels). The pace and noise the thing has is sheer nirvana. Spine tingling.

After I saw this car (which is now at the very top of my wish-list for Christmas) I wanted to see what sort of every-day usability people were getting from their FFs and browsing around, it seems people are putting thousands of miles on them, sometimes every month!

Yep a rangey is a great way to transport your family , questionable build quality and awful reliability. If you haven't driven an FF take one out .... Enjoy , smile , the new version will only be better than the last.
Can I just ask (given the negative comments about build quality & reliability) ......
Do you actually own a recent Range Rover, or have you owned one?
Just surprised by your comments as I've had mine (new shape 5.0V8 Autobiography) for approaching 3yrs and it is the best car I've ever owned, bar none. The overall design & quality of materials make it a wonderful place to sit, the technology is another level to most and I have found the build quality to be first class and it's never missed a single beat in any respect, despite the bashing it takes on a daily basis. I will be ordering another one soon ..... Hence interested to know if your comments are first hand ownership issues, or things you've heard or read somewhere.

Going off topic here but I've had a new RR Sport and I've never had a car that's had so many issues and recalls.

The same recalls my brothers full fat RR has had so how you've missed them I don't know.

Plus the dealers are absolutely terrible.

Our replaced an X5 and all I can say is come back Bmw

The weak link in terms of design in this, the best Ferrari line up there has been, was the FF. The side was much too flat and the side vents looked like they were designed by a spotty apprentice. The rear also not ambitious enough.

Now it is much better. Much more imposing and seeing as it is the top of the line Ferria it is only rigt that it should be more imposing than the F12.

Well done Ferrari. Looking at the PH ads, prices for old new FF stock just took a hit.

The side is especially impressive.

What a handsome car, stunning. All family cars should top 200mph, and be able to go blindingly fast on snow and ice. Well done Fezza.

I love just about everything about it, except it's a few sizes too big IMO.

It's a shame that many people see size as a measure of value etc., and that manufacturers have to cater to 'large' individuals instead of giving them a great incentive to become sporty (or even just regular-size) themselves.

I think it is more insidious than that; I am no lightweight but I can still fit in a Caterham snugly and if you look at the packaging of cars like the (original) Elan it could carry two normal size people in comfort. Or look at how small a McLaren F1 is compared to today's beyond daft hypercars .

I have never understood what the appeal of big cars is - fine if you have a big family but really- how many people use even the space in something like a 5 Series let alone those hideous Audi Q7s ? Is it ego ? Search me guv . Even a 911, such a sublimely proportioned car until the mid 80s, now has a simply humungous arse - why ? Is it to fit in those look-at-me gratuitously huge tyres ?

True , people are a bit bigger than in 60s or 70s but when a Mondeo is far bigger than an original XJ6 one really has to wonder why ....We had this in USA long ago of course- with behemoths like the ridiculous Oldsmobile Toronado occupying more acreage than a Welsh hill farm .

People can drive what they want but one sort of imagined that good taste would apply some spacial parameters but , to take the Q7 or X6 as examples , if they were the answer what in God's name was the question?

Well put!

I really struggle to understand people who drive 80% of the time alone and 19% of the time with one passenger beside them talking about SUVs having 'enough space'. Even a small city car has 'enough space' for the driver and front passenger, the difference is in rear space and back there most of the time we just see kids who really don't need many meters of space above their heads and in front of their feet.

I honestly don't understand why for example BMW 1-series amount of space isn't more than enough. If you really need more rear legroom then fine, more rear seat width to fit those stupidly designed three child's seats then fine. Those things won't increase vehicle size much at all and the front is more than roomy enough.

Big engine, four seats, usable boot.

They couldn't really make it much smaller!

Because sometime you DO need the space, and don't want a fleet of cars just so that you are 100% space efficient all the time.

My car has four seats. It has only ever carried four people on a hand full of occasions. c25% of the time it has 3. Another 20 or so it has 2, but most of the time it has just me. Should I buy a one-seater car as well just appease a bunch of bed-wetters?

Well find yourself wink The 456 is a beautiful car. Showing its age now, but a beautiful car. Classic lines, great proportion. Staggering in its day.

End of discussion from me - if you want to argue a point that's just fine but do grow up and avoid personal insults eh ?
