Scimitar Coupe for £300 on ebay. He was even going to deliver it to my door.

I had a crisis of confidence and convinced myself it would be a complete dog and I'd never get parts. Which was partly true.

Later I saw a Gilbern Invader advertised locally for a grand and missed it by a hair. Somehow the similar rarity versus the Coupe didn't seem to matter that time.

Still wish I'd gone for that Coupe.

Yer, I've had my moments too. It seems I fall in love with the idea of a particular car, do all the home work, keep my eye on a few, then work / reality gets in the way - I turn my back and they instantly turn into a 'modern classic' and all the good examples are gone!
